Mike has been playing the guitar since he was 12 years old, and from that first moment his love affair with music and the instrument began. Fresh out of school at the age of 16 he attended the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford and completed a year-long Diploma course.
After finishing the ACM his life as a full time musician began, playing in numerous bands and touring up and down the country playing iconic venues such asThe Shepherds Bush Empire, The Astoria, The Underworld and London’s Jazz Café. He’s also been fortunate enough to support industry legends Paul Weller, Blondie and Katie Melua.
Mike’s session work has led to his working on a variety of projects - from performing with stars such as Ricky Wilson and Diana Vickers, to appearing in many TV shows and adverts. Mike loves being on stage performing, but is equally at home recording in a studio - where he has worked with Alex Von Soos (All Saints, Seal, Atomic Kitten), Mike Horner (The Prodigy, Shakira, Bloc Party), and Mike Chapman (Blondie, Suzi Quatro)

Nicely done Mike! Rory is one of my all time great and influential guitar players. My Grandad was a carpenter and he owned the Irish Tour 74 and calling card albums on vinyl and he used to blast those albums alongside some Deep Purple, TOTO, Eric Clapton and Peter Green's era Fleetwood mac albums as he worked on his projects, Good times.

Awesome playing Mike! And that guitar is a beauty. Rory is the reason I started playing guitar and he's still my biggest influence. He was one of a kind. My absolute favourite guitar player and songwriter. Great stuff!

Maybe it’s cuz I’m in the states, but until Rory got rediscovered by most of us on KZbin, I’d never heard of him. I’m 41 been playing since I was 10 but it seems like starting around 2014 KZbin made a big push to push his name in our guitar community and I think more people know him now, at least stateside, than knew him in the day. The algorithm is fascinating that way.

@@MikeBradleyofficial I've still got the vinyl album (slightly tatty cover!) and finally got to see him live at Guildford Civic Hall in the 80's which certainly made my year at the time - and the ticket was just £4.00!! 😲
