This is our first time back on the East Coast in over 4 years and we want to explore a city we've never been to before...if we can get there. It seems we're always fixing something.
Savannah is littered with history and it's tough to decide on what to see...especially if we're not moving. Is this an RV mistake? Or bad luck?

RV Camping
We like to "Switch it Up" between resorts and campgrounds and boondocking is always an option.
We draw inspiration from Keep Your Daydream KYD, Less Junk More Journey, Finding Our Someday and Changing Lanes. We normally travel in an HDT similar to KZbin channels Suite Travels, Switch it Up and Watts on Wheels. I also get some ideas from the editing style of Happily Ever Hanks (Happilyeverhanks) #thankshanks and believe it or not, I actually learned something from MRBeast Mr Beast video's as well.

We use the TSD card for diesel fuel and save a bundle each time we fill up our Big Rig. We also use it to fill up our Onan generator.

Our Class C is built by Thor Motorcoach on a Ford F550 chassis. It's a production build Magnitude model XG32. We tow our red Jeep Wrangler Sahara behind it. We've made some modifications to it so that we can boondock comfortably. Lithium batteries, Victron 3000w multi-plus inverter, dual alternators charge while traveling and mods to the water system greatly enhance it's boondocking capabilities.
Our extreme completely custom 5th wheel is built on a semi-trailer chassis with air suspension and air brakes. Completely loaded it weighs 42,000 lbs rolling down the highway. And we do roll down the highway nearly every week. You see, we believe that if your home has wheels they should be used.

Coachnet is our roadside assistance company we use but hopefully we don't use them too often. LOL

It rained the whole time we were in Savannah, but we enjoyed it anyway. Next time you're there, we recommend eating at Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room at 107 West Jones Street. They serve every southern dish imaginable family style. You sit at large tables with strangers and pass around the platters of food that the servers keep bringing to your table. It was good food! Meeting other people was fun too.

You can put a battery switch on your car to keep it from discharging. I have a van that sits a lot I put a trickle charger on the battery and a switch to keep it from running down, also works a little for security the van will not start unless you flip the battery switch. Would be good on the semi also to have a switch. Thank you for the long video it was excellent to watch. David thank you for all you do so Sandra gets the photos she shares with us. Tybee is our favorite spot. Dolphin watching tip: go to the end of Polk Street walk the path and youll be at the end of the river/ocean: dolphins are always there all the time! We carry kayaks with us and we paddle WITH the dolphins...just marvelous:)

I've got the gb 70, only needed it once so far, but it got my 5.9 cummins diesel started on a very cold day, so I could get to the battery store and replace the previous batteries which were 10 years old. I should have changed them sooner but the NOCO did its job.

Thanks for a great video. I've never been to Savanah. It is a really beautiful city. My hubby and I have been to Garden City, SC a few times and every morning when the ocean was smooth as glass we would see schools of dolphins breaking the water not 20 feet from shore. We enjoyed sitting out on our balcony watching them. It was so peaceful.

We were camping on the bluffs on the east side of Monterey Bay and were eating our breakfast and watching dolphins playing in the surf. It was very special watching them play in the waves. Thanks for a great video. Visited Savannah a few years ago and thanks for the memories. 12 days on the filter! Glad that junk did not make it into your water system. Further up the road, closer to Charleston, did you visit The Angel Oak Tree? Largest Live Oak east of Mississippi River. 300 to 400 years old. Circumference of 25.5 feet.

I visit Civil War battle fields with a heavy heart and of all the battle fields I wish every U.S. citizen could have the opportunity to visit and learn about what happened there and the significance of the outcome. I have two second great grandfathers who were Union soldiers. John Jasper Fine of the 37th Enrolled Missouri Militia which was like todays National Guard. He did not see much action and was regulated to the Missouri area. The other was Edward Bartholomew Potter of the 1st Minnesota Infantry, Company G. He volunteered in April of 1861 when President Lincoln called for troops. Private Potter was shot in the belly at the first battle of Bull Run. He had to walk out on his own as the circumstances did not allow for any stretcher cases to be carried out. Learning this made me realize that at that point, me and all my families existence hung on to whether he was able to survive to carry on. Little did I know up until a few years ago that the bullet was left in him and it did eventually kill him in 1889 as it had festered into cancer around it. Had he not been wounded and survived Bull Run, he would most likely not had survived Gettysburg. The 1st Minnesota was at the point of Pickett's charge. They did not retreat while suffering the highest casualty rate of any US military unit (above 80%). I Great video and that you so much for visitng Gettysburg!
