There’s tons of genuinely great gameplay and quality of life improvements and, most notably, Bob is back.
But so is Dust 2. That’s right. Dust 2. We don’t know. Let’s talk about it.

I already did some testing, if you kill an enemy with a HE grenade and jump just as the grenade detonates, you get wings on your grenade too, which is pretty funny. You can get winged flames too lol.

Just a thought Most spinbotter videos I’ve seen also enable a bhop script so they keep jumping across the map while killing. This gives valve data points where that kill feed appears more frequently. Makes detecting cheaters slightly easier.

There's a concern I have with the the left handed weapons - Since it's a clientside effect that affects where the "smoke tracer" passes, we will see a situation where some pro player will spot an enemy from firing through smoke while left handed

I heard somewhere that there’s a Chinese Crossfire tournament that’s around the same time as some other CS tournaments, and that that game has a Dust II map. If that’s true, I could totally see Valve making the business decision to bring back Dust II to appeal to Chinese audiences.

Im a cs noob, but even in low elo i find theres a decent amount of cheaters. Had a match in silver 3 where 1 person on my team and 2 people on the other team were b hop scripting and one tapping everyone with scouts/auto snipers. It was wild for such low elo.

Show the old overhang on inferno, go out of the aim map and test the dropped weapons and the range on them, show how the left hand switch requires pulling out the weapon again and bullets go from the other side of the screen, etc. just do better.

Even Casual has become closeted HvH, usually spinbotters appear and 1 or 2 rounds max they are kicked. But people with full inventories + glove knife combos are still blatantly wallhacking like no tomorrow. Hopped on a match yesterday to finally see my guns on the left hand again, the first thing that happens is i end up spectating a guy trying to shoot through a smoke + a wall on mirage, blatantly walling and after further investigating out of the 20accs on that match, 9 were either bought accounts or brand new, 5 guys were blatantly walling, 2 of them with skins. Cheater Strike 2 has come to stay for sure. After that I decided its better to become gordon freeman and clap some aliens or even perhaps become the most wanted streetracer in all of rockport for the one hundreth time over 😂

@@mrwave9475i don’t see why this is even that big of a deal. It’s quite a minor adjustment for stickers, it’s just having the option to mirror the text. I heavily doubt this would take that much effort, and I heavily doubt the expertise required for anti cheat aligns with the expertise for basic modeling. The game obviously needs new content, but this is just a very minor change that is purely QoL and probably takes like null effort

nah the gun is being pulled out whenever u switch hands so you dont abuse it, either be smart about when to change to left hand/right hand (still cringe) or you will be punished, valve did a good job on that

0:47 I get that only ≈10% of people are left handed but imagine if from the release of cs2 everyone was forced to play with left-handed view model with right-handed view model completely disabled. Right-handed enjoyers would be complaining and I would support them even though I only use left-handed, but when the tables are turned y’all get petty and say it’s insignificant/unnecessary. 😤😂 Glad I can enjoy the game with a view model that matches my IRL POV.👌

Honestly, I'm down for Valve to just slap 5 ports of maps into the game even though its Source 2. Like, slap Russka, Cache, Season, Contra and Train in there in its unchanged source 1 state, SOMETHING than the current map pool to give us something to fuck around with while they work on the other maps with their source 2 wizardry. Apart from that. not a terrible update, coulda been worse like that "fixed clip brush on vertigo" lmao.
