It's not just a game, it's a story. And isn't history simply a series of stories strung together like never-ending sequels? We rarely find closure in life since the cast constantly changes and new problems arise before the old ones can be solved. Games give us that closure, that "It is finished" moment we all strive for. You've completed the story in its entirety - you've gone down every path, fought every demon, and reached the highest level anyone could reach. The end comes bittersweetly as you face the last challenge - a final test. You can't imagine stopping now, not before it's supposed to. And then...it's done, and you are there to witness it, however it ends. That's what games are: they give us a microcosm of humanity in the form of a story - the beginning, middle, end and, most importantly, the after. The after being the most important because while you can enjoy appreciate a story as it's told, you can equally enjoy it after it's been finished. You can heave a contented sigh, thinking, "If only I could play it for the first time again."

@Adolf Hitler I agree but I don't have faith in rockstar you wanna know why? In 2015 the expensive car in gta online cost 1 mil but in 2021 the cheapest sports car cost 1 mil and they put their game in epic games for free (home of fortnite kids) to let them buy shark cards because the game is so fcking Grindy. If u have 1 million in gta just buy some weapons and it's gone. And if we tell them to fix something like the infinte loading screen (which can be fixed in 1 day with single dev) they can't do it they can't even communicate with us man. And other companies just keep making multiplayer games with no soul

Video essentially misses the point of "It's Just A Video Game" movement. There're no really emotional or serious moments which are understandable without knowing the context, it all looks like cool and video-gamey episodes which are... Just a video game.
