CURRENT SCHEDULE
Expect a new video every Sunday and Wednesday at 11AM Central!
How Farms Work by Ryan Kuster is a KZbin channel based in rural Potosi, Wisconsin. Our mission is to teach those who didn't grow up on a farm what the farming life is like. These videos show the Kuster family working together raising cattle and crops. We believe everyone who wants to know more about farming should be able to share the farming experience with us and we look to educate the world on many essential agriculture topics.
How Farms Work takes place on ~1,100 acres with around 75-200 cattle at any given time. Four John Deere tractors are currently used on the farm, which are a 4020, 4640, 7600, and 8235R.

62450 lbs. Might be that that small gravity wagon is used for feed storage. Just a Few Acres Farms has some, bigger than that one, but that's what he uses em for. Loved that time lapse overhead shot showing the combine running down the row, then turning left along the waterway, seeing the hopper fill. Looks like you got some good weather for the middle part of the vid and glad to hear the moisture is coming down.

Ryan I love the drone footage of your fields, they are so different from the fields in NW Iowa that for the most part are all square. It always amazes me how you figure out how to plant and harvest in so many different directions! Loved the videos keep them coming.

Opening up fields like yours can be a real challenge! Computer controlled planters make it a lot easier as they keep track of where seeds are planted! These days rows don’t go over the top of each other! Makes it nice when harvesting starts!

If you weren't so far from Ohio, I would have said that was Jacob Boehm from Boehm Farms. Pretty sure he has a white Ranger and he has a wagon like that. IIRC he took it to the elevator last year for a laugh.

200+ is a great avg. Cole Sonne needs fat steers or open cows for retail online box sale, you need registered bulls. All ships from Iowa. Perfect hub for distribution for coop members. Steak 10# boxes sold out in 24 hrs. Stop the packer monopoly and turn that lower value corn into $3.00 prime beef. Market acceptance test with pre orders and monthly box subscriptions. Worth talking to Cole to sell or sponsor your channel with bbq boxes. Win win.
