Really interesting update video. I’m looking into ‘passive income’ and starting an Etsy shop which fits around fluctuations in chronic illness impairment. I’m too unreliable to be an employee but that doesn’t mean I can’t ever do anything. It would be good to redefine what we mean by passive income I think, something around it being the when of doing the work being separated from the when of getting the income (unlike an employee job when you’re directly paid per hour - there’s no uncertainty and usually no opportunity to earn more). I’m intending to also start a KZbin channel alongside this, with an emphasis on self employment and disability and also discussing ethical issues for people who aren’t natural capitalist, hustler types. My background is in disability charities so it’s a strange adjustment for me.

Hi, Do you have experience of attending artisan markets? If so, where do you start? What do you need to think about and purchase in preparation? Is branding on Stalls or tablecloths etc. important in the early days? I need to branch out into selling face to face and am brand-new on Etsy too. I have a limited amount of money to play with and need to be careful in the beginning with outlay. Any advice would be great - Thanks very much :)
