When the small country church I was attending decided to build a new sanctuary, some of the members thought it might be too big a project for us to take on. You see, we wanted to build it ourselves. Our preacher got up in front of the congregation the next Sunday and asked if anyone knew how to eat an elephant. Nobody could offer an answer and after a few moments, Preacher Mike said, "You eat an elephant one bite at a time!" What you're doing and building is absolutely amazing and wonderful but at times I know it may seem as though you've bitten off more than you can chew. Just remember, you eat an elephant one bite at a time! God Bless!

The smell of mountain air, amazing. Winter or summer, amazing. When my husband passed, some of his ashes were lovingly placed at Mt Robson. One day I will get to be there with him. to avoid high prices, there is also a more sustainable way to build by limiting wood. Try to look for LSF, light steel and no studs, consider this choice for the mezzanine, there are advantages: low price, speed of construction with light structures, no termites, no circular saw, just a pair of scissors to cut the light steel.

We really enjoy watching your videos. Your choice of music, your skillful editing, and the subjects you choose to share show such a high level of respect for your viewers and we are well aware of that and are grateful for those efforts. We use to scuba dive all over the world and we would video every dive as well as top side so we know how much work it takes to produce even a 20 minute program. We follow quite a few people on KZbin and it accounts for the major share of our TV viewing. I am almost 70 and my wife is in her 50's and our viewing habits have shifted dramatically for the last 5 plus years. Your channel is easily in the top of the channels we watch because you do such a great job at thinking about entertaining your audience while getting your story out. 30 years ago I put up a fence in a field. planted 16 apple trees, then went to basic training. The fence has long been torn down and reused. The one tree in the center of the field is like a magnet for deer in the fall, right in front of the cabin. The moles killed the rest or was it the moisture. 10 years ago I planted 8 trees on another property and all 8 are going strong and producing apples. Then the next year I planted 8 pear trees and all of them are going well. Then blue berry bushes. The funny thing, there was an old apple and pear orchard on the property that I had to cut the regular trees down to open back up. The normal deep in the woods in NE PA where an old farm stead use to be. I think the last time someone lived there it was in the 1930's.

Yep. My battery-powered string trimmer is my new favorite lawn and garden tool. It's not as nice as the one you have but it gets the job done. Loved the fire pit scene at the end. S'mores! Yay!
