What a lovely trip! Glad you guys could get away to just enjoy some time together. I'm so excited about The Master of Djinn! I hope you enjoy the Cairo series.

Glad the vacation was fun, and for what its worth I like that lighting for the outside scenes. Still really curious to hear your thoughts on the Toll when you guys do finish it! And Jade City!

Loved the review of Malice and I think I’ll be giving it a miss as well. The drama you mentioned just sounds like a typical YA fantasy and I’m past the point where I want to be reading about that. Honestly seeing your dogs make an appearance is always the highlight for me. So cute! Jade City sounds amazing and I’ve been so excited to read it for ages! But I’m waiting for the series to be completed first. I’d love to be able to reread books as each new one comes out but there’s just not enough time for that and too many other books to read.

I read P. Djeli Clark for the first time last year with Ring Shout, it was just an okay read for me but I did like it enough to want to try something else by the author. I hadn't realized that A Dead Djinn in Cairo was such a short read so thanks for the heads up. As someone else who rarely reads urban fantasy I still hope Jade City lives up to its hype; I'm planning to read it in June. Thanks for including the nature clips, everything looked beautiful and I hope you had a peaceful and relaxing vacation.

So glad you enjoyed Flamefall! I was fun. I can’t wait for the third book. Hope you enjoyed your vacation and that you’re feeling alright and Baby Bookworm is doing well! I saw someone else having read that A Dead Djinn in Cairo series (I don’t know what it’s called) who enjoyed it. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the novella.

I'm super late to catching up on watching your videos. But I am really enjoying them especially the baby bump update :-)

LOL! Had me wondering if you're married to my nurse guy at work for a sec ;) they did a babymoon recently, and he loves disc golf. Your dogs are so cute, and so is your baby bump. Also the short hair cut really suits you!

OMG how funny haha - nope husband is not a nurse 😂 Thank you about the hair! I love it short, especially in the texas summers LOL
