I DID MANY MISTAKES WHEN I STARTED. BUT WITH THE TIME I IMPROVE A LOT. UNTIL A FOUND A ITALIAN PERSON VIDEO'S LIVE FEW YEARS AGO. STEP BY STEP FOLLOWED HIM AND VOALA, I GOT IT. I KNEW NEEDED MORE KNOWLEDGE. SPECIALLY THE AUTENTIC ITALIAN LIEVITO MADRE, PLUS TEMPERATURES, HOURS, ETC. I TOOK CLASSES ONLINE WITH HIM BEGINNING THIS YEAR, EXCELLENT RESULTS. KEEP PRACTICING AND YOU WILL GET IT. FORZA .BOUN NATALE.

Salio perfecto , te felicito, uno siempre busca esa foto perfecta del panettone alveolados , pero lo importante es conseguir un buen sabor y además hacerlo en casa con las limitaciones q uno tiene, por los elementos para preparar y no hay máquinas profesionales en casa , el año pasado hice y me salio super ácido, este año intentaré otra vez ! Tu receta es super fácil voy a intentar hacerla ! 👏👏

If you’re lazy, you can make a dried fruit enriched sweet brioche w extra butter..won’t be as cloudy, but will fill that calorie hole nicely! And way less time..although an overnight slow rise helps develop flavor,…

That IS A MUST. If you don't they will deflate in a matter of seconds. Mine deflated a good inch because I didn't skew them before baking, so i had to lose time doing it after. Learn from my mistakes, please! :)

Looks great! Gonna give it a go. Question: In the 2nd day step, I'm thinking of using the juice of the orange whose peel I used instead of the water. Do you think this is a reasonable thing to do or will the acidity harm the development of the bacteria?

Hey! It will definitely change the acidity with the bacteria, so i wouldn't! The liquid starter is already more acidic compared to the solid one. You could try, but can't really promise! :)

@@MileZeroKitchen thanks for the reply! I did end up using orange juice instead of water for step 2. When I asked you this, I didn't realize I'm merely adding 25ml of liquid per panettone. Having realized that, I was confident it wouldn't have a negative effect, and I guess I was right as it rose as expected and baked awesome! Hanging upside down as we speak.
