I noticed now it seems like Holly Dumb seems to put usually 1 good movie a year to make some money, then go back to pushing the message. So it seems they know they have to have one big hit, or at least 1 movie that doesn't lose money. This mostly seems to be Disney. Think about it, they did Spiderman Far from home that one year, Then Wolverine, then Avatar water whatever. So it seems they put, one to two movies they know will make money followed by the rest being garbage. Well it seems to me all the companies are doing this. I really wish people could understand stop going to all these safe films and then this company would eventually crash. When it does they will eventually get into their pea sized heads or some other company would turn around and make it profitable. One day, or some time, but I know people, they weren't learn.

"hiring of writers who know little to nothing of the source material, or how to write" Fixed it for you.
@davidgantenbein93622 ай бұрын
@@aqlanimations4822While that’s a nice theory, it imo tanks if we look at the how and who of these movies. Avatar 2 wasn’t produced by Disney, Disney just had legacy distribution rights. No Way Home was a coproduction with Sony, where the whole team (producers, director and writers) were the people from the very beginning aka Homecoming, which was before the political agenda bs. Deadpool 3 was carried by Ryan Reynolds, who not only stared in it, but also got major producer and writing credits, probably because Bob Chapek gave him a really good contract with lots of power back when Deadpool 3 was green lit. All these movies aren’t examples of Hollywood deliberately doing one big hit, they are examples of someone else than the usual crowd doing those movies. They just show that the wrong people are making these expensive movies and shows as there would be good talent around. They tell a story of how Hollywood mainly fails due to inbreeding and virtue signaling on all positions except when legacy creatives/stars are pulling the strings.
@aqlanimations48222 ай бұрын
@@davidgantenbein9362 Every year there is one big movie that is almost guaranteed to print money. It could be a theory, but it seems more frequent and if you think about it, they do have to have some source of income to pay for all these things. I think with HOTD and Velma. They made HOTD knowing it would print money and get actual eyes WB, now before season 2 of HOTD they put a lot of money after Velma season 2 to come out. Don't ask me why, I doubt it gets many eyes since it's awful I didn't mean every one of the movies are Disney. Nerdrotic said it pretty good, they have to have some money rolling in. Even with the BR money, they can't have every movie be a flop or they would eventually burst. I am saying I wish that people would let it burst, stop even going to their little better shows, there's so many now free and way better alternatives, more than we could probably watch in a life time. If it collapsed, then they would have to have smaller better focused shows IMO since they know their not going to make any money otherwise. Now there are low budget films that are INDIE and and have nothing to do with Hollyweird which I don't think counts. Am I racist, made money and still is, but isn't pushing the message, but rather than exposing it.

@@Neobatz I think the opposite. You'll instead have filmmakers that don't have any interference from studios or lines of producers, and will be telling stories exactly the way they want. At almost no cost. Let's say Zach Snyder (just to say it) has locked himself in a room for seven months, prompting an AI moviemaking app on the exact movie he wants. He controls character design, camera angles and movements, story, dialogue, score, production design...everything...with prompts. He can ask AI to have two characters which it has already modeled to walk down a dimly lit alley in light rain as the camera swoops down from above, and he can keep refining the prompts until the shot is exactly right. With enough prompts, he makes the entire movie without outside influence. Once finished, he announces it's for sale to the highest bidder. His cost has only been time. It won't be Zach Snyder, but some version of this will happen soon. And the result will be astonishing

Gets dragged out, dusted off and brought once more to a table of producers And from that moment they either repeat all the mistakes of the past or maybe, just maybe in my old age, if somehow the world has gotten sane again, and someone at the table has a small ember of love for the ip and a vision for where to take it We might see something good again

It feels so satisfying to see Disney loosing more and more money. Let's go Disney...

Remember when they said, they didn't show the fight between the Wookie Jedi and Smilo Ren because they didn't have the budget for that.

HBO likely doesn’t have the available budget to give a show $200+ million, USD of course. So I’d expect Penguin’s budget is around $115 million or so about 1/2 the $230 million Disney gave Acolyte. So even if Penguin’s views are similar to Acolyte at 340 million views it’s a success because it cost half as much to make for the same return.

Yo Gary, I don't know who coined the phrase but it's been in the background this whole while, "TOXIC POSITIVITY'! HollyWeird will ignore ALL the Real Reasons for failure after Failure unless and Until the Independent Films are given enough monies to actually create REAL MOVIES once again. Thanks for the Post.

In live chats and comments for videos for a couple of months, I predicted the final amount would be 225 million... and I underestimated the final tally. Way to go Disney. Bring on Season 2 and spend 300 million this time.
@dlewis97602 ай бұрын
It's probably a bit more. They shot the stuff over there. They most likely edited the stuff over here and you have to toss in a few million for "Walking Around Money" like the press and content makers.

@SpiderAds-862 ай бұрын
No. Concorde was actually innovative and technically brilliant. It could have been a stepping stone to bigger and better things only air travel moved more towards large slower planes (it was also profitable in its later years). This on the other hand has almost no redeeming features.
