Looking forward to seeing season 3 with Ritchson. I think he is the superior Reacher but have to give big respect to Tom Cruise. He embodies the character of Reacher really well but not the physical size and presence. He has all the clever resourcefulness of the character. I don't think he would have had a chance to make the movies if the series came out first. The number of people interested in the series may have been a lot less without the movies. Seems it's been a WIN-WIN for all involved.

It's funny how many of you criticize Tom Cruise's portrayal of Jack Reacher now that Alan Richtman (who is doing a great job) is playing Reacher. Yet, when these movies came out, you thought all of this was pretty bad ass! Food for thought!

Richtman is good but Cruise is one of the best actors around and is my favourite as Reacher by some distance

Well, I hate to disappoint you...but... The Reacher series is ridiculous. Cinematic crap. Basically, a Saturday morning cartoon. And as we all know, cartoons are for CHILDREN. Tommy Cruiser- boy couldn't act his way out of a brown paper bag. His appearances on screen basically consist of his jacking off (in a psychological sense) to boost his own ego. As for Alan Richtman, he seems to do sort of OK, given the one- dimensional nature of the role. But, I seriously doubt that this series will net him any Oscars. There, I said it. Oh, I should also say that, eventhough I have no respect for the crappy movies in question, you (and everyone else) certainly have every right to enjoy them as you see fit. Further, I am NOT saying, in any way, that there is anything wrong with anyone who does enjoy these films. Not at all. To each his own, as they say. If I seemed to give offense by my comments, then I apologize. My issues are with the movies and actors, NOT the audience.

I honestly liked Tom Cruise's portrayal better. I know physically, Alan is closer in the character description, but I just felt Cruise's was better.

I will not support any advertiser whose ads do not have an option to 'opt out' immediately. Positive name recognition takes one second, negative association lasts forever.
