It was used in the 1920's-30's science fiction as popsicles became a favorite summertime treat and has carried on. I love reading the old science fiction, a lot of it predicts exactly the science and political situation of today.

I guess this is what happens when you let an old self-important philosophy professor get together with an egotistical billionaire with delusions of grandeur. Everyone else does the work and they spend all their time trolling through books and other media looking for intentionally confusing names to show how sophisticated and intelligent they are compared to the plebs. The AI forgot to take the gravitational pull of those two egos into account during the initial vhole jump and blew up the moon on accident.

Except this game basically makes every person a walking accident that kills others every time.. they did a patch to fix the accident rate and stuff... It is very punishing with how the system works.

Put your two EVA airlocks in the first sector. A dock, lab, probe launcher and two EVA docks are enough to get a sector wide space bonus which will make the fight against hull degeneration easier.

@@glennjanot8128 AFAIK EVA buildings are the only way to fix the hull. They get a bonus from a sector gaining a space specialization.

Now now now JD... You CAN thaw out popsicles in any sector, whether or not you have a facility to do so... of course if you do not have a facility then the corpses become free insect food. Or "MEATS back on the table boys!!!"

Whats your usual 1st tech upgrade ? I went with the 3 science every 5 cycles. But then I ran into food issues. Even with 7 or 8 insect farms I didnt have enough for two sectors. And you get forced into expanding your population. Just two iron mills are 30 workers. Plus the recommend workforce is higher then the actual numbers of jobs. So they can relax :)

Nice video. I got full sustainability very fast. Focus on waste aquiring and recycling. Once you can get population of around 1100 + you can have as much of the following resource as you need alloy/Polymer/Electronic via waste recycling. What is even more important you will have enough alloy to offset maintainance of hull. Unless you opened 4+ sections for some reason :). Use Cell housing as it provides far more waste and you can get population happy in many ways other than fansy housing. Put as many Cell houses in farming district and fill them with all your lazy non working citizens. Farming district has bonus +% waste production. Managed to go to Theta Crusis ( 3 Jumps) without opening 3rd section with 2000 population. Had a big laugth to see mission objective that required at least 4 sectors to have sufficient battaries :) Have not used water in game at all but am going to try. So far I am hopefull that people will not be limited resource in this game. Lost around 50 so far at population of 2500. Half due to first hour mistakes. Didnt pay attention to working conditions. I was also sure that they would bread. I thought thats what non-working population is for :). It turned out it was for waste. Based on description of upgrades to end game building Exo fighting dome population should be over 5000. Also, with 2 sections you need to have 2 EVA built. Keep one powered down so that it doesnt use alloy untill you self sufficient. You will need second EVA in 2 cases : accident on EVA 1, Before moving it is highly adviseble to get max hull.

Crap!! Unassigning ships.... Ouch. Did not realize you could transfer ships between Docks. When I wanted to change the ships in a dock, I have been Dismantling them. :( At least you get the recourses back. I dismantled 2 ships Not realizing I WAS getting the recourses back. (Just found that now in testing)

If you can't defrost popsicle's in S2 why not just build a freighter in S1 unless you'll no longer need to have resources there???

That wastes five workers and power in sector two because iirc you need stockpiles to export between sectors. Sector one needs finished resources anyway so there is no loss to keeping one cargo ship there and it saves on stockpile staff in both sectors because you can keep sector two exclusively an importer of raw ore.

Hello, how do you deal with the cryonics center constantly unfreezing people so the population is growing? I can't figure it out following this tutorial. thanks

Population is something you will just have to balance, you will need the workers so you have to unfreeze the cryopods, and all i did was move the from one sector to another till it was maxed out, then added some extra as you can have a number of people homeless without a debuff

If you have any ICUE Corsair keyboards and mouse, it will NOT work with the game. Once the game is launched it turns OFF all your keyboard and mouse lighting and nothing in the game fixes this until you EXIT from the game. I tried to find the gaming company complaint address and there is nothing or no way to report the problem. So, I had to ask for refund.

@@JDPlays Can you detail that? I look carefully through all the key binds and accessiblity settings for anything that would bring back my ICUE lighting effects and there is nothing. I really want to play the game too btw. If anyone knows how to fix this without me reconfiguring my entire computer, (lol) please let me know.

@@gavinsonic74 I have just installing the latest update (iCUE software v. 4.31.168 : keyboard firmware v. 1.2.18) so I presume this fixes the problem?! Is this the version you are using too? @Vegas Sims can you confirm the version you are using that caused the problems please?
