Italian 4th Alpini Paratroopers attend Flintlock 2024

This video focuses on Italian special forces operations specifically Rangers of the 4th Alpini Paratroopers Regiment assigned to Army Special Forces Command (Italy) and Italian Air Force members assigned to the 9th Wing, 21st Squadron, operating HH-101A Caesar helicopters during West African special operations exercises called Flintlock.
Special ops teams from the U.S. military's Africa Command, along with NATO allies from Spain, France, UK, Italy and Netherlands are conducting Airport Assault drills at Tamale Airport, Ghana, alongside soldiers from countries including Ghana, Ivory Coast, Chad, Tunisia, Mauritania, Nigeria, Libya and Morocco.

It’s also the most performant and safe of its category. An impressive transmission system able to sustain high level of torque, three powerful engines able to allow a transfer flight with only two operative and one in idle, systems redundancy, a great systems monitoring and a modern avionics suite.

@stefanoR4327 i went to and italian airbase, army aviation, unfortunately there wasn't the hh 101, but there was a monument of and old AB205, Active A 129 mangusta, and Active nh90, very cool, also i "interviewed" a pilot of a mangusta, best Memory of my new Life so far...

@ I worked in the design of that helicopter for the Italian workshare systems, as well as in the analyses required for presidential helicopter program. It’s really a great helicopter.
