I love watching Gina cook. My mother-in-law's name was also Gina and was in Italy during the war. It was hard times. Sadly we didn't think to record my Gina as she cooked our favorite dishes, but having these videos and cookbook bring back all the happy times together. Thank you Gina and your family, may God bless you all.

I love the Italian Grandma’s videos. Not only is she a real person doing real cooking but what a lovely way to preserve her recipes and memories of her. Just think, her great grandchildren will be able to watch her in action at the stove preparing these now timeless recipes. I wish the technology had existed to preserve memories of my grandmother and mother exhibiting their expertise in the kitchen. Gina is an accomplished cook and she inspires me to go into the kitchen and create my own memories. So far, I have made the lentil soup and zucchini soup and I will make the chicken soup tomorrow night. I hope Gina continues to share more special recipes with us. Until then ciao.

Great recipes from Nona, just like any of our old folk from anywhere around the world cooking from scratch. Showing us how it’s done my mother showed me and my sister how to cook from a very early age we could cook a family meal by the time we were 12 years old and I taught my daughters the same my son also knew how to cook from scratch. It doesn’t matter wether it’s Italian Spanish Greek or Irish it’s home cooked food and it’s fantastic and lovely to see this great Italian lady on you tube giving lessons to us all on how to cook her lovely food

That expression and body language she gave you (son-in-law and cameraman) at 18:50 shows so much genuine personality. I love it! And, I’ll bet you did too. That’s why you spliced it in the video. I just bought your book and can't wait to make some of your dishes for my children. my Noni passed when I was a teenager (she was 98)! So I didn't get a chance to learn her recipes, nor did my children get a chance to meet her and experience their Italian heritage first hand. You have brought that to me and my family. Thank you for that. Love and blessings to you and yours!!
