As a hockey instructor, I use your videos daily and incorporate them into my lessons. I have literally had rink management chew me out and tell me this isn't real skating. LOL. This is real skating! They just don't know how to skate. Great work!

If you are able to have explosive stride. How to stride without pulling a groin muscle. I have an issue with that.

Why is it "proper hockey etikette" to keep your blade flat to the ice as mentioned @ 2:00?

When he is demonstrating, change the video playback speed to 0.25 or 0.5 and you can actually hear the change in his stride from quick to powerful.

i hate to be that guy, because when we get back to canada, we will be sending the 8 yr old to one of your camps, but at 25:25, during the cross-over start, that left foot comes up--little hop--and i wonder about that. in baseball (which was admittedly my better sport) we learned not to have a false first step going from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd on the bases, esp on a steal) or going into the hole when defending. thus, learning to do this in hockey was actually pretty easy b/c i already had the footwork & that's how i've taught our little guy.
