You definitely need full tune up as usually they run lean from factory. With K&N and exhaust you are running way too lean.

How to know if it’s running lean? From my understanding it will pop flames if it’s running rich. Unless I’m mistaken.

@@itsmeericb factory ECU's are programmed for stock air filter's air flow, now you have K&N which mean more air is getting in the AFR and with after market exhaust engine gases are exiting much faster. The whole cycle is faster with more air and same fuel as before, which means lean AFR.

you can just go to ktm dealer and upload akrapovic engine map for couple dollars

@@itsmeericb ktm dealer has all ktm bike models akrapovic mappings because they are partners. And it cost like 50€ for upload that map to your bike

It's not about torque everyone knows R1 is faster
