For sure. I can't believe seeing him solo "Here Comes The Flood" on Kate Bush's Christmas Special. He looks like he's 20-25, but looks like he's seen an entire lifetime of sorrow. Of course he crushes it perfectly, and was also already out of Genesis at that time too!

In 2011, one year after surviving brain tumor surgery and 2 years after losing my wife to cancer, I was chosen by my tribe to ride from Georgia to Oklahoma on the Remember the Removal Ride (the Trail of Tears). I sang this song to myself the whole 3 weeks and 1000 miles. ....back on the road, alone with the sky.... Thank you, Peter.

This song is truly amazing! What makes it even more amazing is to have been able to follow Peter Gabriel from his roots in the original Genesis group formed 1967 in England. You would never recognize him except in his most creative moments. Always throughout his career he would continue to stretch the limits in all realms of love/hate; joy/sorrow; remorse/forgiveness etc. etc. No social angst has remained untouched within his music as he has challenged all social institutions in one way or another. He has been my greatest inspiration especially in times of great need and depressed spirit!!!!!

Beautiful, the way they appears, they are stars, the way Peter Gabriel quit the stage to let them shine and every musician turned toward them. There's also a subtlety when they exist the stage: having them still seated and descending underground would be like treating them as toys, but them quitting the stage walking is another story, a very positive one for disabled people.

My husband loved this guy! From early 70's until he passed away in 2012. The day after my husband, Pete, left this world I was crying, sitting in front of the computer. I'd just gotten a Pandora account and really hadn't had much experience with it. Out of every song out there Solsbury Hill (Pete's number 1 fav Peter Gabriel songs). I said out loud "if this is you honey that's all I need to know you're okay". After saying that I had the most bizarre feeling that washed over me. Goose bumps everywhere, hair standing up from my head, back of my neck and arms and the most euphoric feeling.

And yet, I'm crying at every note of that song, because it feels like I've been travelling ever since, so many miles far from home. The scream comes from below, deep down, as the road goes on.
