This is probably the first time this episode of this programme has been seen outside of the Granada ITV region, Weekend was a Friday evening show usually only shown in the Granada ITV region.
With presenters Debbie Greenwood, Paul Jones and Ted Robbins and guests Norman St. John Stevas, Spandau Ballet (performing "Only When You Leave") and Kate Capshaw. Also featuring a painting by Simon Grady/Brady of Ormskirk.

That's because you've only seen a tiny clip. Many of the itv companies especially Thames,Central and Granada produced all sorts of programmes that gained worldwide fame and were excellent Investigative journalism.
