hey guys, kazunoko is not manufactured as packed. It is harvested from hen fish belly and cured as is with salt. Fish eggs are naturally packed and covered with a really thin membrane in hen fish belly.

It is quite interesting…. You two are right. There is no slimy food in North America. Good point! As for American bacon, I miss it so much! I miss the BLT sandwich with American bacon. MMmmmm

We Japanese love kazunoko. High-price kazunoko has a certain flavor. But as Arthur said, kazunoko is a food with a pleasant texture. The Japanese food that I think foreigners like is gyudon. There are many gyudon chain restaurants in Japan, but the one I recommend the most is "Jounetsu no Sutameshi." There are many of these restaurants in Shinjuku. You can put as much mayonnaise and garlic on the gyudon at this restaurant as you like.
