Sam, I think you need to do another durability test, but this time a little differently. Get a 15 Pro/Max and a 16 Pro/Max, take a pebble, and drop it onto each of the phones’ screens respectively, from various heights. This will eliminate the variables of the angle of drop, edge impact, etc., and prove the differences in the actual screen durability.

These tests generally aren’t very scientific. It takes just the right drop angle to shatter just about any phone. Also slight variations in the stability of the manufacturing process. It’s a game of chance where those variables out weight any improvement made to the device. If you performed this test 100 times from scratch, I would imagine you’d see overall a different result. I would say the fact they both survived three drops on concrete is impressive. 7 feet up to concrete is no joke! I’ve seen more scientific tests using a pressure device that measures the pressure before breaking point in the exact same spot. You might want to invest in one of those machines.

Bro, because of your drop tests between 14Pro, 15 Pro and now on 16 Pro, I can proudly say that my choice for 14Pro is the wisest one…..☺️ I purchased 14 Pro this March, its durability is class apart from 15 Pro and 16 Pro….. The only thing I have to worry is about the Battery, for 14 Pro has 3200mAh, due to it’s form factor My Take on Stainless Steel and Titanium Frames….: Stainless Steel frame is prone to scratches, however the frame holds on and gets dent marks only if the impact is strong. The frame protects the display and takes the dents all on itself, The back glass too is good enough. Titanium frame attracts less scratches(normal scratches) however is very prone to dents, shattering of back glass is quite common as it no longer has the steel membrane. 14 Pro Display has a thick bezels, which protects the display on corner /side impacts. 15 and 16 Pro are very very prone to display shattering thanks to its lesser bezels and the contoured frame fails to protect the display, causing damage both to the frame and to the display…😢 My Advise : Cases are highly recommended for Titanium frames…😂

Sorry but you keep telling that the cracks stay the same after extra drops on the 16 but the display stopt working after the first few drops so the 15 holds up better. So I don't care how the glass holds up because is already stopt working. If the glass breaks I want the phone to be fully functional so I can make a phone call if you are in a need and the 15 did a great job to my opinion.

Go get a professional press machine and apply same weight on both sceens to see which cracks at what pressure and then test which sides gets bend at what weight and there u go.
