These breakdowns are really insightful and very fun to watch, would love to see some of this type of content. Also I like how Dom memes with hating on T1 all the time but is completely objective when watching and analyzing the games

Honestly Dom is spot on with the Gameplay versus Rune/Draft angle. Yes Draft and Runes are weird on T1, everyone can see that, but as Dom rightly puts, that's literally not why T1 is so streaky in the last years and has now (again) issues. At the core is a fundamental coordination and execution issue of the players and that something like this still boils up after the squad being together for this amount of time is a dead give away that this roster cant stay together anymore. On a sidenote: By now I perceive LS hyper focus on Runes/Draft as pretty baffling, nitpicky and at times even actively detrimental by shining the spotlight away from much graver issues. I think Doms analytic approach of focusing on coordination, execution (macro&micro) and play style is vastly superior in actually coming to the core of why team X plays good or why team Y doesnt play good. I mean yes, not taking Scorch or flexing Ivern top (or whatever) may be a good optimization at times but you could also just properly play out your champs and strategy. Basically you should maybe be more concerned with whether or not the engine of your car is working and all wheels are attached before you check if there is enough wiper fluid and the air conditioning is working.

yeah LS doesn't quite understand how the game works in terms of actual in game stuff, so he made his name bugging out over pretty much every non gameplay related aspect of the game lmao.

from watching DOM, LS and caedrel a lot over the last 3 years i would say all of them including LS when asked to analysis this teamfight would say the same thing as dom or something very similar. As i have seen all three analyse game states and team fights in this exact way, although LS does it the least on his streams. i think it just comes down to preference/passion of what each one of them is passionate about. LS is passionate about runes items and min maxing as he sees if you are doing that then you are going to do it in other aspects and also seems to just think stuff like team fight coordination etc is something teams should just be able to do. Caedrel on the other hand is very heavy into map movements mid to late game and focus's on draft but from a "meta" perspective and mostly only thinks about what pros arecurrently picking where as LS focuses it from all champs and some of his weird picks. Dom has really great teamfight analysis as well but I think he really really focuses on jg pathing, movements and plays around jg. watch any analysis clip from him or his streams it almost always about jg perspective, not necessarily a bad thing but its his perspetive/passion in the game. tldr they all have the same level of understanding but from different perspective. dom a ex-pro jg focus on jg, LS a coach focuses on minmaxing and getting the most value from non mechanic/coordination as thats more or less on the team, caedrel focus on map movements probably from caster perspective and team fights like dom from ex-pro perspective, and then he dabbles in draft but from a pro-"meta" perspective not the LS look at all champs are their "identities perspective"

I mean you don't know if pony is actually bad, he basicky has to play in a new team that is mentally currently not in Peak while under pressure because you are replacing one of the most iconics midlaners in a country with crazy fans. Good example is razork, he is a really good jungler but didn't look that great because of team having mental boom and not being on the same page. It is not all about players skill level.

@@XIplupIX He isn't LCK level that clear from the way he lanes,he is almost always taking trades when timing isn't right so he is never able to move out of lane to assist rest of the team,not to mention how often he was caught alone in side lane before big objective.He was bottom tier midlaner even in challenger league,he has potential but he needs more exp and knowledge.

Possible but I think you are missing my point his current performance can be fucked by all the pressure and team enviromemt etc. Something similar to Oscar in week 1 or how fanatics player swap from top players to bottom ones and top ones again. While the community really like to critises cause they are safe, despite having no clue how teams work. Bo is also a good example on fpx he looked god tier when he came to eu he also looked great but slowly worse and worse. A player isn't nessacarry bad or good only based in his skill level. Mental team enviromemt and everything is important as well.

Dom is way above the avarage player knowledge wise cause he is high ELO and used to have competitive expierencebut thats it. He is not some insane analyst or coach. So no need to voerhype him there are tons of people with better knowledge than him, they are just not famous on twitch.

The thing is agree with both Dom's and LS' point. You can summarize it in one sentense: T1 players don't think about the game when they play. From draft phase where they prefer comfort over actually good draft, to picking runes and start items just on autopilot don't thinking about the game, to actual gameplay where they play like a soloQ team again on autopilot , doing stuff that in pro play could not make any sense and try to outhand you every single time. But it can't work forever

You can’t be seriously thinking that they just been out handing their opponents without thinking about the game and still makes final in all those past tournaments. Imo, they are suffering from serious mental boom and losing momentum in addition to missing faker. Their current shotcalling and gameplay deteriorated severely but they certainly knew how to fight and macro before this split.

Im so with Dom, cuz I even, I mean almost everyone already saw this coming cuz even when Faker was there, I just think no one is really talking, although I would say in Faker's defense, before he left, they had 2 Shotcallers in that team, him and Keria. And the moment he dipped, all the power went into Keria, cuz no one is gonna say let the 17yr old Shotcall, but then Keria started having really really terrible games to the point of it being so disgusting to watch that he lost all confidence in himself to try to shotcall and affected his game mechanically that he's now bottom 3 in Support. Cuz as Ive watched T1 with this roster play for the past 2 yrs ish, if you watch Comms, theres really only Keria and Faker talking, Oner might talk here and there to be the one starting fights if he's on like Maokai or Sej, while both Guma and Zeus are more so just playing the game. Im not asking for Zeus or Guma to be the ones shotcalling, but the fact that both of them stay silent for too fcking long just triggers me. If this game's comms ever gets released, I literally wouldnt even be surprised if no one literallt talked during this entire fight, Zeus was probably just saying "I can TP", Poby was as quiet as a mute, Guma was probably just pressing A over and over again, Oner was probably saying, "I'm good, I'm good" (in regards to him not being the target of damage), and Keria probably being quiet as shit until he hit that hook or flay on Gragas when he came. I just wish that this team comes back in playoffs man, I dont even care if you dont win Summer or even place 2nd, cuz ngl, KT looks mega strong. Imo, theyre like the 2nd best team rn, just tied with JDG. I have BLG as the best team cuz I'm Bin and Elk biased 😂😂. Just play for Worlds Qualifications, if you get WQ, then just rest Faker or something.

That such surface level of understanding what he said,items are not problem,but they show what their problems are,if someone buys armor against full AP team its clear he doesn't understand the situation he is in. Same way with pro itemization,they go for solo que builds that have no place in pro scene or don't match what you team wants to do,hullbreaker is good example of this concept,you don't buy that item if you can't split push and your team comp relies on team fighting to win. They often autopilot their builds even when sometimes they make no sense,healing reduction vs team without impactful healing,crown against poke comp and stuff like that. Player that understands the game,knows what he will need before game starts just looking at the team comp. While LS does make a valid point about their problems,no itemization can mitigate bad jungle pathing.

I feel like Dom is more focused on the gameplay itself, and LS is more focused on the other part of the game like draft, runes and proper building optimization. But I also feel like these two have been likes this since forever.

This is one of the reasons I prefer doms view of the game soooo much more xD He even identifies problems in real time too. With ls it sometimes feels like he is viewing it way to much in comparison to card games where the units do what they are supposed to. It’s not even about if ls is right or wrong with what guma builds or whatever. Even if guma is 2 items ahead, his team made it impossible for him to hit and even though Jax hit a huge spike, t1 played out the situation so horribly that bro had everything up while t1 was down 3 ults and the hp bars barely dropped xD So I 100% agree with dom.
