@johnkirk1772 the issue is that the talent dried because they had mo chances to join a bug team under the franchise system, you cant simply make a team of random pubstars and get into LCS, then those rookies get experience and get shown in the big league. You gotta get scouted, tried, put on NACL and hope that things workout. If you look at other games with esports (valve games) that's how some random kids blow up and become tier 1 players. Obviously now it doesnt matter, since if you are 16 yo and reach challenger it doesn't matter, you have to be invited into a team to participate. If I was a kid I would play fortnite, cs or dota 2 where I can earn more money just by climbing the ladder and being good. Riot will put blame on everything but the system they designed.

It’s funny how tsm will always be more memorable then anyone after, simply because they were the best at player stories and marketing their players to the fans. Just like an nba team would. You look at anyone else in the league you probably cannot even name all 5 members on their team. They don’t market anyone they make riot try during broadcast if they even bother. We need less segments of players putting a bed together and more with the game. Have players 1v1 on aram more. Bot lanes 2v2 in aram map. Have a jungler show how to full clear quickly and kite camps or talk about camp spawn timers for example anyone tell me exactly when first void grubs spawns? Or how long a scuttle takes to spawn and will one respawn if only one dies? Do segments about champions and their builds, flavor of the month show the entire build its current win rate in all elos throw it on screen have Kobe talk about the build, which abilities get maxed first etc. lcs has been trying so hard to apeal to dweebs that they don’t even market their game or anything about it. Teams are leaving because Riot gave broadcasting rights to streamers, and in return it's hard for orgs to go to sponsorships saying that there are a collective (hypothetical number) 15 streamers, who as a collective have 100,000 viewers, instead of 1 or 2 that have 100,000. Sponsors see it as an issue seeing how they do not control the broadcasters so why would they align with the org when the broadcasters basically can say and do what they want. I don't blame Teams for leaving if they can't afford to keep teams in the League because of Riots choices and insane rulings they should leave.

I think Riot should do some type of thing where they like let other orgs run tournament circuits so in Starcraft there was at least two I think there was three but I can only remember the SPL and the OSL and I don't even remember how it came to be that there was two like who was the Arbiters of those two I have no idea but the way league is the only way to do it is to either give Tyler one an official circuit and then it's like a free-for-all for streamers or just let the orgs run like mini tournaments throughout the year to control worlds and MSI They basically need to give the game back to the community as much as possible. I think any video game which has an Esports seen that's micromanaged or fully controlled by the corporation owns the game need to do something similar because Esports was growing when it was largely community-driven and now it's corporate driven and then they just expect kids to like get into it like no that's not how it has longevity like if you take control away from it then Gamers don't feel like they have any investment in it and then it like slowly suffocates itself (unless you're OverWatch and then you just strangle it from the moment it's born) I mean personally I think they should let the Orcs run tournaments with proteins in their tournaments but also non-pros so just like random people from the premade ladder or people who just want to enter like let the collegiate teams play against them like who cares like it should just be whatever people want and whatever the team is feel like they wanted to just let them do it just feels the need to have control over all of their output that uses the game and that is just dumb But it's also very Asia as far as intellectual property is concerned so I guess it's to be expected
