I thought it seemed kind of obvious that Dom was banned because he constantly shit on Riot and the LCS. Both during streams and during his talkshows. Riot's decision to ban him from the LPP demonstrates how truly stupid they are and justifies a lot of Dom's (and not only Dom's) criticisms. But that's not really news, we all know Riot is shit. They knew Dom was probably going to flame but because he's knowledgeable, entertaining, and respected in the broader League community they looked past it, calculating that it would ultimately be good for them to have him in the program. And they were right, it was. I think ultimately someone just couldn't stomach the amount of flame heading their way from an official partner. Sometimes things are just that petty and image related. Someone was just too irritated that Dom shit on Riot and LCS at every opportunity (justifiably).

I mean I’m not sure about the US, but in the UK we have the freedom of information act where you can legit force them to give their reports on you. I think Dom needs to take this step because regardless of the situation it’s infringement on livelihood and as he pointed out it could also easily be defamation. I think the "nails" comment is a very trivial thing in the grand scheme, and if that is the reason it is a complete over-reaction by Riot. I suspect that Liquid knew the ban was coming and that's why they separated proactively. I think Riot is uber-sensitive about anything that could offend women at the moment after the Kotaku incident last year. Agree with the statement that they will not disclose anything that could be used against them legally. That being said, making inflammatory comments is a double-edged sword -- your target audience will simultaneously make public statements that they do not tolerate it, and then flock in droves to clickbait titles that might have something spicy in them.

Alright, everything else I agree with but the defense he puts forward of the nail polish comment "not being sexist" is bullshit. No matter how much people will point at sexism as going both ways, you can't truly believe that the discrimination faced by women (especially in gaming) is comparable to anything like saying "are you jacking off?" Here is where Dom really made an error honestly. Instead of owning up to what he did and saying sorry and moving past it, he for a long time after kept bringing up "oh can't say that, that's sexist" and never actually apologized. The statement does have sexist undertones. Dom trying to refute that and defend it and come up with all these gymnastics about why it's actually ok doesn't look good for him. It would have looked better if he simply apologized and never brought it up again. But the one person who continued the hype around that incident more than anyone else was Dom himself by making snide comments about how he can't say stuff like that. In situations regarding sexism, racism, bias of any kind, if you're the one saying "well i just can't say what I want anymore, harumph" while also still saying the thing you are complaining you can't say, you're probably the one in the wrong. It's like racist people who say the N word then follow it up with "but that's not ok to say anymore, so I won't say it". That's the energy Dom is giving off.

For real? How small is loco's brain, how can one be sexist without even knowing the gender of the other person? The definition itself implies on being discriminatory towards a gender for their gender, which in this case Dom assumed was male but was female. In turn, it was neither gender being discriminated against because Dom was unaware of the gender reality. In addition, he was also just making a joke, which is allowed and doesn't make a person actually sexist. Even if the joke isn't found to be funny by many it just means it was a bad joke that's all. There are two reasons why I see it was just a comment, not a sexist one, just a comment. People are allowed at least that much.
