I totally agree. I have been miserable on the job and I hated it and I suffered because I thought the people on the job would change but they didn't. I ended up leaving and being unemployed but at least being happy that I wasn't there anymore.

I feel like in a sense she's right. However what's so wrong with going against the status quo? It kind of sounds like she's saying it's wrong being a revolutionary or thinking outside the box is wrong. Going against the realities of some of society's rules has brought many good things.
@queenesreina7424
@queenesreina7424 8 жыл бұрын
I think what she was saying wasn't an argument against thinking outside the box. My take on it was that, in order to respond to a situation in a meaningful way, one first needs to identify the situation *honestly* -- to acknowledge the _reality_ of it. As she said in the video, once you acknowledge what the situation really is, you can then choose how to respond to it...be it in a conventional or in a "revolutionary" way. You can choose a revolutionary way to respond to a broken car part (maybe you'd have been the first to try duct tape or Bond-o...), but, if you don't accept the reality that the part that's *really* broken/cracked is the gas tank and not the carburetor(sp?), you will suffer for it, if for no other reason than the fact that you won't have been effective at resolving the actual malfunction (or dysfunction, as the case might be).

A good protection Not to fail and live in denial, IS to circle some true, honost people around you, WHO dont need you, so they are bold enough, to Tell you The truth,when you need IT,or you will BE decived. And another Thing to both Woman, please dont Mix Up Philosophie, Religion and humanisman, while clai Ming to be GOD s child. In some Videos that got my attension before, please get yourself clear in that issue, many Woman Look Up to you, please dont deceive Them, because you are compromising The WORD. God Bless you all with truth.

While I like Oprah, it's important to recognize that she is picking and choosing from a number of religious and new age traditions. There is never a mention of sacrifice, it's only about fulfilling our own immediate needs. Talk about non reality.

"Take the good and leave the rest behind." As for Oprah's methodology or intentions, only God can know for sure. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt that her intentions are good...even if she _is_ seeing a profit from it. Ultimately, the choice is ours as to what we actually _do_ with what she's presenting to us; so is the responsibility.
