I could listen to this beat and never grow tired of it no matter how gritty it sounds. If theres one thing Dilla taught me is that quality doesn't necessarily mean overcompressed sound blasting your face. Its all a matter of Artistic Value. Wanna know J Dilla is the Greatest Producer of All Time? Just look at the tittle and listen. J Dilla is capturing an scene without having to paint. To those who aren't listening correctly its just a drum beat and a melody. But its a lot more intricate than you think. I Imagine a Sunflower passing its days, growing, following the sun into Adulthood. The pattern of Life. Its incredibly symbolic. Sunbeams are the essence, the energy, advice, a reflection given to sunflowers to bloom, absorb, capture, live well in harmony.

수한수수 I honestly think he was the greatest artist. he was more thought provoking than anyone else. While others gained public attention he was perfecting his craft in the basement with his ever growing vast library. DJ premier and others had no time for that. They had concerts to attend to, J-Dilla however did not, he even skipped concerts for his craft. "Art is meant to provoke and inspire, but is there a point where the public engagement becomes a detriment to its existence and intended purpose".
