It's "Big Hit" music. It's their label. Jhope is an award winning street dancer and he used to dance to JColes music. His favorite album of his is "Friday Night Lights". They met for the first time this past July when J-hope headlined Lollapalooza. Jhope's first mixtape is even called "Hope World". He is about to leave for his mandatory 18 months of military service for South Korea so this is a good-bye-for-now song to his fanbase "ARMY" until he gets back. All BTS members are about to serve (the eldest is already serving) and all seven of them should be back in 2025 to resume their group activities. J-hope wrote the and coproduced the melody and it's him whistling in the background. The little boy in the beginning is dressed the same as JCole at the end... from the streets to the top of the World.

since you like Jcole, check out BTS’s cover of Born Sinner best video has got to be a stage mix video (a edit of two performances together). They originally did the cover in 2013, but in 2015 they performed it and then they performed it again in 2017… in both performances they changed the lyrics to follow more of who they were in the moment. I think he was saying that the taxi cab driving by was CGI, not that the whole video or the closed down streets were CGI. I don't know for sure if the taxi was CGI or not, but I've seen a couple video editors reacting to this song say that the car driving by was added in.

J-Hope released an entire album "Jack In The Box". "More" and "Arson" both have MV's well worth watching. RM (another rapper in BTS) released 10 track album "Denim", 8 of them collabs. "Wild Flower" and "Still Life" have fascinating MV's. Suga is the other rapper, a bit more hard core. However, "Daechwita" MV is cinematic story telling. Have fun 💜

Don't know if this was mentioned in the comments, but this was J-Hope's gift to ARMY as he's fixing to leave for mandatory military service, something all SK men have to participate in. As far as recommendations if you haven't watched/listen to much from the group and enjoy rap, I recommend any of the Cyphers, Ddang, Ugh, & Outro:Tear to name a few. Love your reaction! So much symbolism in this video (which is typical of BTS. Notice the little boy in the beginning is wearing the same jacket at Cole. The street is the same as Cole’s Simba video. J-hope stays in the underground and on the street while Cole on top. When Cole starts his verse j-hope becomes like a marionette and starts dancing Cole’s verse (j-hope started off as a street dancer before he learned to rap and Cole was his idol). J-hope’s pause and the trains going different ways right when Cole says….! And they meet at the end, when they both on top. The billboard behind them. Anyway, loves your reaction to this and Born Singer. These guys are so talented. The song is a gift to ARMY (BTS fans) before j-hope leaves for his 18mo mandatory military service. J-Hope is using a lot of intentional symbolism in this video (the side street and intersection from what I understand is inspired by an early J.Cole video, the subway corresponds with JColes bars and the subway stop that inspired Jay Zs moniker, the journey through the streets, through the underground and to the pinnacle (rooftop) where he can finally meet up with his inspiration. He started as an underground hip hop street dancer (thus the underground scene) inspired by the Culture, and has always claimed JCole as a Muse and major inspiration...that's why he gave him 32 bars and danced while he rapped...he came full circle while also leaving this gift for his fans and paying homage to HIS OWN IDOL. Introduce your subscribers to interesting artists you've found along the way, a song you particularly like from a well known artist. It's how I've discovered some interesting music along the way. I'm a BTS fan and along the way have discovered some very interesting Korean artists like AKMU. Just sayin' ... you don't have to be like everyone else. 💜
