I’m Scottish and have never really got why it’s a struggle in London. I can speak and be understood all round the world but get “sorry what was that” all the time in London. The ear for accents isn’t great. It’s either that or they don’t like Scottish people.

Jack and Gary are brilliant in that show, Great chemistry and Jack is a great actor so far the work I have seen of his has been really good he picks good roles and works with great actors. I loved him in War and Peace, Mary Queen of Scotts , Dunkirk and Slow Horses can't wait for Season 3 later this year

I love this guy, only seen him in Graham's show and he's so funny; has a sense of humor that can be taken as rude, I love it; looks like the kind of person that can get into trouble for not knowing when to stop talking 😁. Plus he's handsome 😍😘

@@leaflaurel Many Scottish actors tone down their accents when they do interviews it makes it easier for others to understand especially the viewers and the person asking question. It's also less stressful for the person too because if they use their strong accents I think other people act weird and stupid some people become a bit offensive. I would tone down my accent too if I had a strong foreign accent of my first language.

They can play brothers or even father and son. I can see that happening in the future....if Jack keeps up a good career he can continue working with great actors. He has already worked with great actors well known in the industry.

That's a proper accent when he builds it, has to, from "american" through "proper english" through southern scottish, through the real deal. That's all he had to decompose first to sound english. His true Scott self makes him invaluable..🥰😘🤣 i was taught english in Scotland, They're great people and I couldn't be more proud of being accepted by them. Fisrt thing I was asked coming back : Lose the accent ! My Fair Lady all over again..The difference is, we all try to sound received pronouciation American to sound international

He is a very talented and versatile actor with wide range. I am quite impressed by some of the works he has done. He is definitely getting noticed more and more. That being said, he seems very nervous during interviews probably because he’s very shy. However it doesn’t imply he’s boring in person. Since we know very little about what he is really like in real life, we’d better leave his private life out of this.
