This is the first Jack Parow interview I’ve watched, brilliant. I had the pleasure of working with him a few years ago and he is a legend. Straight up great human.

Josh, you have a rare talent for interviewing, the way you connect with any guest from a rapper to an ex corrupt cop. And it’s so natural! This is honestly the best podcast I’ve came across and it has so much potential to become the best podcast in the world! Keep going bro, you WILL get there !!

Jack Parow is always such a genuine and lekker guy. I agree with his take on Psilocybin mushrooms. I usually meditate on them whenever i need some insight or guidance. It had such an immense and positive impact on my life and lifestyle. The Wide Awake podcast always brings out the big guns.💪 Great show dude! You should invite Groothond for a visit.

The man's a legend, I remember bumping into Jack for the first time while studying photography, and this random unknown dude with the signature cap pitched up at the annual exhibition we had as students at CTSP in Roeland Str around the time just before "Cooler as Ekke" hit big. Jack's mom(and his sister) owned this coffee shop in Durbanville also quite a few years ago(think the place was called Dash, was situated very close to Durbanville High School), went there often as I was living in the northern suburbs - later just knew her as "Tannie Parow". 🤣

Parow does not have caravan parks - not Parow East, Parow West, Parow North nor Parow valley. Durbanville is not a poor white suburb, its upper class with mostly wealthy people being able to live their. This guy is dragging the name of Parow through the mud and making it out to be something it is not. He most definitely did not grow up in Parow. Matthew 16:26 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
