Sorry for the late upload, daylight savings time is hitting me hard in the mornings where I record these. Not to mention my laptop last night decided update all night so that set me back lol. Anyways I'm late but I'm here!
I really enjoyed this cover and it shows tribute to those who inspire musicians to create music. Many bands have done stuff like this and I'm glad to see this! thanks for watching!

As someone that grew up on Slipknot and now loves Band Maid this is just perfect! I know what you mean, i constantly go back and forth between metal and rock too depending on the mood im in for, mostly between Band Maid and Lovebites these last few months! Thanks and stay safe Jack!

I totally get you. Metal is also my go-to genre when listening to music. Sometimes really cool and unique rock bands make a big blip on my radar, and I tend to devour them like a starved animal. Akanes drumming was what made my gravitate towards Band-Maid. Her style is really close to metal, and it just sounds good to my ears in a hard rock band. It gives the songs an extra bite! I hope they do some other metal covers 🙂

Thanks for understanding my point of view. The drumming is amazing and is what caught my ears in the music. And i hope they record some more covers as well. Thanks for watching 🤘

Akane's drumming weaves in and out of different genres. I think she's like a combination of Ian Paice, Carter Beauford, and Chris Adler, but she does it on a smaller kit!!!

Just a warm up before they got to work on an internet broadcast to their fans because their concert had been cancelled due to Covid - if you warm up to Slipknot you're the real deal...

Nice, yeah there a lot of good songs ro warm up on. If you warm up on slipknot songs then that's amazing but there a lot of other good warm up songs from other bands I like to warm up to. Like Angel of Death from slayer or Master puppets from Metallica as my examples. Overall it was great to see them play this song!! Thanks for watching 🤘

This was an impromptu performance recorded on a cellphone when Knotfest Japan was canceled. They have a habit of doing great old school rock songs as warmups during sound checks.

Oh, my favorite song from Sleep-Not! Duality is my sign though♊✌️ Hope these Band-Maid girls get another metal cover or make their own that is not just rock but pure metal🤘 just like Nemophila.

I hope to see more covers from them as well! And to be honest I am enjoying a mix of both, like I said I lean more toward metal but I enjoy their play styles.

Not to take away from Slip, I grew up listening and like there music, but the power trio here probably had no issue covering this song. Duality is relatively intermediate on the scale of music difficulty.

I haven't attempted to play slipknot songs in a while. I barely have time to do these videos so my guitar playing has been low but I still play whenever I can. Thanks for watching 🤘

So cool you found this.....But to put this into context..... Band-Maid were due to play Knotfest in Japan, but due to Covid-19... the whole festival was cancelled. So the decided the play "Their set" online "free", on the day they were to play. The whole 30/40min set was recorded, in their rehearsal space, on a singular mobile phone (Not the best sound quality... but they were leaning, experimenting)...... which lead to 4 more "professional steams (1st 2 being 1 hour, the last 2 being 2hrs +) There latest single "About Us" was actually taken from their last live stream..... On the Date that they were to have played their very first concert at . A very iconic Japanese venue... Think "Madison Square Garden".

Dude, check out a used Peavey 6505 Mini Head. It's switchable from 20 watts down to 5 watts, so you can drive the tubes without waking the dead. Used ones can be had for pretty cheap if you look hard enough. I use one in my music room (which is just a spare bedroom in my house). Plus, Miyako of Lovebites uses the full size version onstage. So you can get somewhat close to her sound.

Nice I will definitely have to check one out. I have a line 6 spider V 120 and it does me good and it's easy to record directly with so I don't have to worry about microphone setups and surrounding noises. I'd probably get one just to have one lol. Thanks for watching 🤘

No worries, bro. Enjoyed the reaction. But yes, the Peavey has a line out too, so you can do the same. I've recorded with a Line 6 in the past. Sure, amp sounds are subjective. But I think 6505MH would become your new favorite if you get your hands on one. Check the used Peaveys on Guitar Center's website. Paid $367.00 for mine with shipping. Cheers!
