I love that cottage cheese dressing idea! I already put cottage cheese on my salads as my "dressing" but never thought to mix it up like that with avocado!! Genius! I'm addicted to your 500 calorie down day videos!!

Had to LOL...when you asked Alexa a question, mine answered! You got me started on the clean fast 4 mos. ago and I haven't looked back! Had surgery this week and have had to keep a longer eating window last few days to take pain meds. BUT I consider those just longer eating windows, not a failed fast ;) Keep on keeping on!

You can do the mangoneadas is really easy just blend mango with water and sugar then froze and add chamoy (sweet chili)

Yayyyyyyy!!!!! Another amazing video!!! Everything looked amazing! I love Mexican food (my mom grew up in Mexico and can cook like a genius!). I love when it's truly authentic - YUMMERZ!!!!! Still in diet brain and worried because I had about 650 calories on my up day.. this video has helped me see how silly that is. Did you start OMAD like this video or did you worry more to lose weight? Your videos are elite!

What do up and down days mean? Down day is when you get that one meal which was the proteined salad and then the up day is what? You lunched with your hubby and got dinner and ice cream with your kids on the same day?

Jackie what would you do if you keep getting nauseated when you break the fast? I am only on day 5 and I couldn’t even eat my OMAD because I just felt like I was going to puke. I don’t understand.

So , after reading fast like a girl by Mindy , have you changed anything at all ?? Do you noew take multiple meals a week before your periods and ovulation ?? I am really getting confused, barely started OMAD and now there's again this headache of measurement and timing

So you measure everything you eat ? I just eat anything on my omad and still maintain weight Hopefully be ok as I've just stopped keto 2 weeks ago only gau Ed 2bl which is water weight, but I hoping to maintain it 🙈

I still have OMAD and haven't changed anything due to my cycle. Basically because what I've been doing has worked well for so long, I am afraid to change it up. I do OMAD most days, 1 down day and 1 up day every week or two.

I agree. I use the KetoChow electrolyte drops recommended by Dr. Ken Berry. Less expensive.

I know it's not the cheapest, but I do love having it. Buying in bulk does help for those that want to order, but save a bit.

@@FastingFoodie I haven’t experienced cramping so I have yet to buy any electrolyte mixes but I may need to bite the bullet soon because I have increased fatigue. Thankfully no cramping. I love IF though! Love. My glucose runs very low though. And honestly, my biggest issue is severe dry mouth! Not thirsty, dry!

Yes, I do it only on a down day. I do these about once every week or two. Then the next day I intentionally eat more. It doesn't feel the same as dieting since I know its a short term delay and the next day will be more.

I understand! I find it like a "game" to see what I can build. it's definitely more work than most of my fasting days and if I don't have the time, but want to do a down day I simply fast all day (which by comparison takes much less effort!)

She is not big on explaining what she is doing, and assumes that you've seen all of her prior vids. I believe a "down day" is no more than 500 calories. Who knows her definition of an "up day", but it definitely involves more eating. She does OMAD mostly but throws in these downs and ups for variety.

I apologize it's not clear. Here is a brief over view: I do OMAD most days (focusing on dinner) Every 1-2 weeks (not structured, just as it works) I do a down day of 500 calories or less. Then the very next day is an Up day where I eat at least 2 meals and have at least a 6 hour eating window. I will link to a video on what each of those are. I include them for a variety of reasons, which I will link to a video on that too.
