I remember coming home from school and flipping through channels and I came across DBZ on some foreign channel. After watching Goku fight Vegeta I fell in love with the series and would always race home to watch the show in Sub. When we got a computer I found a website that had every episode and movie and that was the best moment in my childhood because I had no idea about DB or that they had movies. Goku and krillin were taught the kamehameha by master roshi. Then goku passed it on to his kids, gohan and goten. Super saiyan is a transformation he learns later in the story along with vegeta and his kids. That girl is bulma. She is vegeta's wife later in the story piccolo is a namekian from the planet namek. The type of energy that they use is called ki.

Just a few answers: the Kamehameha wave (turtle destructive wave) is the turtle hermit schools signature move. Goku, krillen, yamcha, and master Roshi (created the move) are the main once that specialize in it. Everyone can do it if they want to. They just dont. The super Saiyan is a golden aura. You’ll know it when you see it

so power levels are like the how in naruto they sense how high a persons chakra is and that tells someone how dangerous the foe is, but in this series its called Ki(key). For reference an average person like that farmer with a shotgun is 5 if maybe they're buff, strong but still an average person maybe it can go to like 20. Once someone gets to training and using Ki to do stuff such as shooting those lasers you saw, flying, super speed, super strength the lvl gets higher to like hundreds and up. The range of the spectrum is infinity. oh and only machines like those scouters (green thing on raditz eye) give exact readings (usually people who dont know how to sense ki use those scouters, while others can tell how powerful a person is). People can also supress ki which hides their true power because no ones fighting all the time yk
