I love when misogynistic men try to justify their own laziness and selfishness by saying that the male orgasm is purposeful while the female orgasm isn't and that men ejaculate so it is needed and women can get pregnant without it so it isn't needed. First of all...I'd like to bust the myth that ejaculation equals orgasm, it doesn't. A man can orgasm without ejaculating and vice versa. In fact, many species of animals it has been shown that females seem to have the ability more than males. Like rats for example female rats have been shown to have the ability to reach orgasm while male rats do not. Most males there seem to be a psychological trigger that causes them to ejaculate without any orgasm accompanying it. In humans at some point in our evolution the female orgasm was more required for procreation because it most likely stimulated the ovaries into releasing an ovum, but it's still seems to have some purpose to procreation still because of the vaginal contractions that can help sperm swim towards an egg, and the simple fact that pleasure and orgasms encourage more sex AKA a higher likelihood of getting pregnant. Not to mention the fact that the clitoris's SOLE purpose is pleasure and to give orgasms. All that being said...the male orgasm is probably more of a mystery than the female orgasm is.... 🎤 drop.

Procreation is only a single facet of it. He's so insecure in his masculinity it's actually mind boggling. Holy shit it must be _tiny._ 🤨

Christian obedience is supposed to be about obedience to the Lord alone, not filtered through the great chain of being.
@rudra623 жыл бұрын
The Bible says that the man is the leader of women, as God is the leader of men. Women are to be silent in the Assembly, and if they have questions, to ask their husband or father when they're alone. However, the notion that women can't vote is ludicrous. In the OT, women were Judges and Prophetesses. It was later that Abrahamic faith became as patriarchal as it is. JLP is mostly espousing what is told in the Bible. The Christian couple are filtering what was written in the Bible 1800-2500 years ago through a filter of common sense. But, he is right, even if the couple don't know it. I hope he gets ahold of some of the apocryphal material that talks about YVHV having a wife, and about Lilith, Adam's first wife who wanted to be on top. :D
@moni_is_sharp51723 жыл бұрын
@@rudra62 the reason it says women are to be silent in the church is because back then the females sat on one side of the church and the males sat on the other side so the wives had to yell during the service to their husband if they had a question. the verse is telling them to instead talk about the question at home to not disrupt the service. it doesnt mean they literally cant speak, preach, or teach in the church. Unfortunately, a lot of christians take that verse out of context.
@rudra623 жыл бұрын
@@moni_is_sharp5172 That's not at all what 1 Timothy 2:11-12 says. "Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence." I suppose they could preach, teach, but only to other women. It was (and is) the Jewish custom for males to sit on one side and females on the other. Early church services were held in homes - often SMALL homes, so there was not much room for separation. There is nothing in the New Testament stating this. However, some churches later re-adopted the Jewish custom of seating the genders apart.

@@davidhendel9210 Religions as a whole follow the written/recorded teachings of a presumably-historical person, or by people who were acclaimed to have been prophets of the deity worshipped. Saying one follows that religion is to accept and follow those teachings. For a Christian, it is the Bible - both OT and NT. For a Jew, it is the Torah and Talmund. For a Muslim, it's the Koran. If someone says they are one of those religions, I assume they are following its traditions along with the written teachings of the basic texts of their religion. If someone is not following the teachings and guidance in their own holy book, not following the teachings of whatever persons in history were said to be revealing the word of their god, but they are following something else, how can it be said that they are a follower of Christianity, Judaism, Islam, or whatever other religion rather than accepting the teachings and traditions of a religion to inform their own morals and ethics, and believe in a sort of New Thought? Or, do they believe in any sort of religion at all, and expect somebody else to follow something their way?

There would be absolutely no problem with the hierarchy of these kinds of religious couples, if they recontextualized it as a BDSM D/s dynamic rather than the natural order that needs to be enforced on everyone. Of course they would never do that because I'm sure it would be seen as "immoral sex" but it's truly hilarious to me how that's exactly what the dynamic is, especially for the couples you've shown where the wife is happily consenting to be led by her husband. Of course the issue is framing it as the standard, which is oppressive and misogynistic. And if it was such a natural standard it wouldn't need to be enforced anyway. Truly wild how the only way to validate the extremity of Jesse's opinions is to paint all women as demonic and essentially not even human.
@davidhendel92103 жыл бұрын

@carmensavu51223 жыл бұрын
I agree. I am in fact of the opinion that hierarchy makes a lot of sense in romantic relationships, but it has absolutely nothing to do with gender. Both men and women can be either dominant or submissive. I'm best friends with three dominant women, with myself being a submissive woman. And I hate to think about my mental state if I had been born with a penis instead, and so I would have been forced to "lead". It has to do with psychological inclination. If we only let people take on the role that they are actually inclined to want to do, things would be so much better. But I don't think they have a good grasp on what submissive and dominant mean, either.

That if women are left in charge or in control, things just won't work out. What I don't understand is... if that's the case, why would I want to start a relationship with that person? WTF? If I feel as though the person I'm with is incompetent and incapable of handling things, why not just find someone better? Unless... unless oh yeah, that's right - unless I just see her as someone I can have sex with whenever I feel like. In that case, yeah - a relationship does make sense. Seriously, there's no hope for some of these people anymore.
