What I found with my cart is I used a Disc Brake and Caliper from an OLD cable type Honda Motorcycle front tire......Works Great stops on a Dime and does NOT STICK! I used a CB Honda CB350 brake from a 1973.
@AlwaysBored12310 ай бұрын
That's a great idea. I was thinking of trying a hydraulic brake but then you have to deal with fluid leaking and air and all that.

I don’t know man. You said that you’re too lazy to fix that head gasket but you don’t seem lazy to me. I enjoyed watching you work. God bless!

Awesome go carts repair video and it's excited to see how the old go cart is revived. Thanks for sharing. Are you up for a collaboration? Hipa supplies parts for small engines, and you get the knowledge on small engine repair and maybe we would work together to help more people in the community.

See that Honda big block you need to ajust the gov or remove it completely and replace the valve springs and get an aluminum flywheel rhe way you ajust the gov is under the gastank you will see the arm and it has holes in it and what you need to do is put the spring from the rod in the hole that will let you give out as much rpm as possible i done it on my mini bike with a Honda 200

In my opinion, finding a consistent theme and sticking to it would be better than jumping around to unrelated tasks. This is something I recently discovered about KZbin's algorithm. Mustie1 is a good example of someone who stays with one task and theme and keeps us interested in all the details. He draws us into each job. In other words, I think most folks want to see you actually doing the task and relating to the details of the struggle than learning you did it off camera and told us about it later. The first video I watched was the one with 50+ lawnmowers and old related gear. That was enough material to last you several years, but you rushed us past the good stuff. In my opinion, that misses the point of taking the time to watch your work.
@AlwaysBored1238 ай бұрын
KZbin rewards consistency to be sure. And I admit I'm bad to get going on something and skip over details that I'm too lazy or impatient to film. But I try to stick to the simple philosophy of making videos that I would enjoy watching. Lots of people said I should have split that mower repair video into a bunch of smaller ones, but I personally wouldn't want to watch 10+ videos on the exact same repairs done to different riding mowers. And tbh I don't think I would have got more total views or watch time if I had done it that way. Idk maybe I'm wrong. It's a balancing act. What holds me back more than anything though is my glacial uploading schedule. I've simply got to do better on that.

You should fix the pressure washer set as they are expensive and valuable 😎
@AlwaysBored12310 ай бұрын
I may do that. I've got a bunch of pressure washer engines and parts i need to do something with.

What throttle assembly kit are you using? Could you post a link?
@AlwaysBored12310 ай бұрын
No kit really. I just used steel brake line from the auto parts store and synthetic windshield cut out line from ebay I think. I'm sure you could use high test fishing line or something too.

I love the yellow one! What make or brand is it?
@AlwaysBored12310 ай бұрын
That was a Manco model 4005B-09. I think they were sold under a few brands. That one says "Havoc M5" on the front. I liked the styling of it.

Put oil in the tire if it leaks. It'll soften the rubber and seal back up.
