Jaguar F-Type SVR - The Most Exciting Car I've Ever Driven

I hope you all could feel the joy through this video that the car gave me, it's an unbelievable experience to drive! I know I haven't done many car reviews; there will be a couple coming soon on some cars I really enjoy. I was also able to try out 17 different cars around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca back-to-back, so I'm planning to do a summary video on my impressions of those 17 cars and how they behave on the track. I will say, cars act quite differently on the track when pushed to their limits than on the street where I generally remain very conservative with my driving. While this Jaguar F-Type SVR was stupidly fun on the street, it was a bit of a beast on the track. It's not the most predictable or best balanced car near its price range, but on that beautiful mountain or country road, you won't be let down by the sound as you're firmly planted in your seat. This is one of the best videos you've ever done. You've managed to capture, on film, some very real moments of spontaneous joy! A real life moment. You've really showed people (instead of telling them) how fun driving can be. This makes even more of an impression on people when you mention how "Spock-like" you are most of the time. You know what I did right after watching this? Conservatively built just a normal f-type R. Landed in at 122k. I know what I'm getting after my M3... Come a few raises (fingers crossed). Hi Jason, absolutely loved this video and as a JLR Engineer it put a warm glow in my heart. I shared it round the R&D office and someone described it as the best illustration of the "F Type effect". I've 'only' driven the F Type S, with a measly 500hp! But it was on our test track at 175mph - I can vouch for the fun factor. I love your videos - precise and concise! keep up the good work. I've even tried to follow your example with my repair videos. One thing - any chance you could do a video on ABS brakes. Explain how they work and what they are for? maybe a practical demonstration on a track (or somewhere safe) to PROVE that there is no way a driver can stop a car quicker without than with? Maybe even borrow that F Type again for the demo, lol. Also demonstrate how much more stable a car is in an avoidance manouvre.

I know this is five years old, but, the NJ plates are manufacturer plates because Jaguar/Land Rover North American HQ is located in NJ, and that's where the press cars come from. I believe he lives in the Pacific Northwest, Washington state, maybe. Yes, the PNW has incredible vistas, and coastal landscape. All the west coast of the continent, including Mexico and Canada, of course, is that way.
