Nice find! But for sure that needs a bit more than a new battery and some fresh juice! It's funny, 34 years ago when I was looking for an XJC project, I thought I wanted the V12, but they were like hens teeth and I ended up 'settling' for a Daimler Sovereign version with the 4.2 lump. But lately, there are sooooo many V12s around. I wonder if it's because so many 4.2s ended up in the scrap yard, whereas folks hung onto the V12s, no matter what? Not sure I'd want to take a V12 on in that condition in todays market, if what Harry Metcalf spent on his is anything to go by, that motor is going to need to find someone with very deep pockets!

Love the phrase resting totally deserves to be brought back to life it didn't spend almost 35 years in a barn for nothing most of them are gone now 👍

This is an amazing coincidence! My mechanic friend (unit next to.mine in chesterfield) has bought this exact car! Yep, this one. Already had the heads off and unstuck all the valves. Still wont run quite right but im going to diagnose tomorrow fir him. Any more details about the car you found out would be nice.
