Jaguar XKR (1998) Review

I just bought a SILVER STONE, one of 139 convertibles in the U.S. a 2001 car. One year only, been on my bucket list for years. !!!!! I can now sleep with a smile on my face. GLORY HALLELUJAH.

I had a 2002 XKR convertible same colour. Absolutely loved it and I'm biased too and even worked at Jaguar for 10 years ha ha. They truly are hugely underrated. 380 bhp on a rolling road from mine adaptive suspension and red lined at 6,750. Absolutely beautiful. Mine was immaculate when I sold it and wish more than with any other car that I'd kept it.

i have a 2001 xkr and he is right it is just gorgeous. most beautiful car i have ever seen. we have the luxury of driving it rarely.

I have a 2003 xkr convertible, a new cat to share my garage with my 1991 XJS V12 convertible! Both fabulous and thrilling to drive.

I had a black on black 2000 XKR convertible. Damn it was a beautiful car. And fast, although easy to control. If you stepped on it, it leapt forward with no lag. It just launched. Costly to maintain as a daily driver, and didn't have room to keep it just for weekends, but I regret selling it nevertheless.

After watching and reading the press releases for the new Xk series... Gent walks into the Jag dealership, a sales rep greats him and say's, "Can I be of assistance Sir? Gent reply's, I'm having a difficult time with deciding on which of the beautiful new Jag's I want. The XK-8 is absolutely stunning but, I'm also a big fan of Aston-Martin and the V-12. The sales rep responds, If the gentleman would please follow me... They walk a short distance to the A-M section of the showroom and he directs the Gent's attention to a far corner of the floor and say's "Perhaps what the Gent is looking for is the Aston-Martin DB-11!

Pretty sure that metallic CLANK at 3:20 is his coats zipper on the fender. The bonnet goes thump when closed so yeahhhh... screw yer red paint buddy.
