I know I'm a bit late here, but I hear that bracelet story and all I can think is that young Jaiden was pretty smooth in rolling with it. Most of the time I see/hear stories about children in plays, they panic and stop acting when something goes wrong. From what I hear of this story, this sounds like the opposite of a failure.

So, as someone who went through theatre school, I think I can say this: If nobody can tell you made a mistake, you did not made a mistake. We also had painted-paper props, a magic of theatre is that props don't need to look "realistic" as long as everyone who sees it understand what it is. Also if anyone's interested, my memorable roles were: Bait (difficult to explain, but it was a major role), Pilot (from Little Prince, I died on the end) and I would also played Mad Hatter, but then the C-virus happened.

I was in the art crew of a Jungle Book play... I remember being so devastated that I missed my final play (we had performed in different places, including Vegas, it was Disney Musicals in Schools™) because apparently we were supposed to perform at the local high school, but without me knowing, staff decided to make it take place at the elementary school again. And forgive me for rambling, but - I also remember thinking my crush looking adorable in the tiger costume. °O°

i would always do similar things with my toys. i would take my most favourite one and show it off because y'know it was my favourite i gotta show how much i support it. that would always result in disaster, and some how my toy would be destroyed beyond repair or just get lost. it's why i now stick to the "save your favourites for last" rule. i am not going to lose any of my most prized possessions ever again

I remember my primary school class did a performance of the rainbow fish, and I played a pivotal role in the storyline… …I was seaweed. I literally wore a seaweed costume for an hour and didn’t have a single line, and you know what? It was the best time I’ve ever had in a play since I didn’t have to do anything. I just stood there wearing pretend seaweed made from tissue paper. 7/10 experience. Wouldn’t want to do it again but it was easily better than any other time I had to be in a school play.

Omg! So I was playing 4th trumpet in the jazz band. I was having so much fun, as the jazz band was the most advanced band, but 4th trumpet wasn’t the lead of the band. The very next year, I was 1st and jazz band was so stressful because so much pressure was put on me to be good instead of to just have fun. So yea, needless to say, no one understood why I liked 4th more lol
