This was my favorite DVD growing up. Chris Adler was my biggest influence as a drummer by 15. I didn’t want to learn the basics. I wanted to show girls I could play Now you’ve got something to Die for. And i did. So thanks Chris, for literally getting me my first 3 girlfriends.

More like 21st century's Pantera. They are both groove and somehow LOG's riffs remind a lot of Pantera but still having originality. Plus they have Adler which just is the best. Perfect.

I know it's hard to play every lick perfectly in front of that many people at the MDF, but you can tell he was struggling at times. Don't get me wrong, Chris Adler is a great drummer in the world of metal, and very inspirational to young metal drummers in bands all around the world in general, but I was surprised to hear him mess up on some of those double bass patterns.

My favorite part about him is that his style is the very definition of a "just make it work" approach/way of playing or learning. People get all bent out of shape about technique and posture and bullshit but all that really matters is does it groove? Then it works for him... clearly. Fucking wow, I love these two guys. Chirs is one of my favorite drummers of all time and my current drumming style is much based off of some of his stuff. Willie threw 3 guitar picks to me directly at their show last week. Was such a great time...my guitar playing is also molded for my current album Im working on after Willie and Marks ( of Lamb of Gods) style. Wonderful musicians

There’s something intriguing about his guitar playing. There are some minor imperfections and he sometimes rides a bit further back on the beat. Makes it sound less mechanical and more organic / almost bluesy. But still very technical / awesome sounding riffs

Chris Adler's passes up speed for power, rythm, and groove. He is considered to be one of the best drummers in metal for that reason. Yeah some of his drumming can be simplistic at times but thats what makes him so good, because he can change his sound up without hurting the songs. Plus his tom fills are awesome and percise. On top of that his double bass work is incredibly technical
