Coming back into archery at 33, having stopped for about 8 years, after shooting competitively for about 7 years before stopping. Been extremely useful content, thanks for all this! Can't believe how lucky new archers are that an Olympian archer is making such important content for the sport. (My last bow sets were essentially the apecs and nano carbons, and the hpx with f7s, at 44lbs).

Hey Jake, i think that you purchasing the equipment and selling it back to the community is a great idea because i think with your backing of equipment, it will sell just as easily if not faster because we know it's coming from you. I personally have bought the wiawis ATF-DX (blue, exactly the one you reviewed months ago) shortly after your review as i loved the color and the look. Your review was the cherry on top and had it not been for your review, i would not have known about the new riser and its color options.

Hello Jake, definitely your Idea on selling previously reviewed products would be an awesome thing. Besides, as a consumer, this would be already a great way for the product to not only be “ broken in “ but to have an overall review, from your perspective the consumers can find very useful information. Especially for those first time archers, and seasoned alike……thank you for all you do in the archery community 😇🏹🏹🏹🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍

Hello Jake, congrats for the unique content you are providing the archery community! An idea would be to sign the equipment and/or give some sort of review card to make it more appealing.. selling in Europe might be difficult due to shipping expenses and import tax..

Nice review video, love to see more reviews, especially in the beginner to middle level equipment. About the reselling the reviewed equipment, I think people would love to buy, but to add more value to the item, you could consider leave your trace on such item (signing, reviewed by Jake, etc.), your fan will grab them like crazy

I have a SF Evo I bought in the spring this year that I use a Spigarelli ZT arrow rest on. My arrows have fairly large feathers and I don't have issues with the fletchings/vanes hitting my shelf. I agree the grip is kinda disappointing - I modified mine with some epoxy and grip tape, but recently upgraded to an RCore grip that has been doing really nicely (and looks a lot better!). Thanks for the great videos!

I have the SF NEO setp full oly recurve.. Bought one after watching your review.. Been loving it I have to say.. Not a fan of the clicker mount on it though, screw keeps coming loose and I dont want to loctite it because I have both longer and shorter arrows that somtimes requre a shift of the clicker position itself.. Huge adjustment range on the tiller bolts which was very welcome.. I was able to drop some 34 pound limbs down to nearly 30 and I guess ill get up to 36 or more all the way in.. Defintaly some of the better midrange stuff for sure..

A friend has the newer Newtron riser from this company with the integrated weight in aluminium I think. The screws holding the weight are rusting quite a bit now with our weather in Malaysia and it's not even 6 months old and he's lost 4-6 of them unknowingly. Best loctite them down. Personally, after using the Vygo I've moved away from risers with inline weight attachments. This is because I feel a change in the riser flex and limb timing as it stiffens the bottom half of the riser more than the top. Also, putting weights in the 5/16" bushings gives me that weight-forward effect that I do prefer.

I have a Sebastien Flute riser too, but the Ascent one and use it as a barebow. On 20 meters it's best set at 21 cm brace height and -2 mm tiller. With 2,5 inches feather vanes right helical on 4 mm arrow, I had 310 as my best score. But, I'm just a newbie in barebow archery. So, my settings above might not be the perfect one. Just sharing, sorry. 😅🙇♂️

Some of the older SF Evo risers are missing the barebow weight mounting hole beneath the silver stabilizer bushing. (2021 alternativess version)

Looks like a very nice riser. Unfortunately the radius on the shelf is a total deal-breaker for me. In my experience every millimetre or 3/64" of space on the shelf and sight window counts regarding tuning.

Which material is most durable for a bow limb? Pure carbon (uukha SX+), syntactic foam + carbon (Hoyt Axia), or wood + carbon (Hoyt Velos)? Also the clicking from the Axia limbs, is that still a thing? Might be a make it or break it factor for me. About to make a purchase and need feedback.
@JakeKaminskiArchery3 ай бұрын
The clicking is not present anymore with the new limbs I have. However this can happen on just about any set of limbs and any bow, string wax on contact points usually solves that problem but my previous clicking was different

another alternative would be to buy a bow & have it shipped to you. Then have you ship it to the buyer buyer. I'd be cool waiting another month extra if you get to play with it first.

Reselling equipment used on your channel is an excellent idea. But consider the time required for repacking. It may not be worth the trouble. Also, if your reviews of some items are unflattering, you will be in effect chasing away potential buyers.

I have a Sébastien Flute EVO Riser and I have a big criticism of this equipment: it hardly supports any external equipment... The length of the clicker is particular, no way to fix the Mantis correctly, I was only able to fix my viewfinder on 2 screws instead of 4, I was not able to fix and use the Avalon Classic magnetic clicker and that of " Arc Système" is too long, etc. In conclusion, like Barebow why not but like a recurve bow too much equipment is inaccessible to it if you don't buy Sébastien Flute... 👎👎👎
