I wanted to ask a question on how you manage your storage..my computer is full of movie files (.mov) and the only way I have figured I could improve the situation is by storing my files in external disks. Congratulations to Jake and Roger on the final print of their dissertations! The concept of hereditary titles makes me somewhat uncomfortable. I'm not fully informed on the broader range of modern British understanding and implications of such things. While we don't have formal hereditary titles in the US, certainly there is often hereditary social, financial, and political advantage associated with those from affluent lineages. It is an interesting dynamic but I have not done enough research on this to say more. I briefly wondered if that was a sidewalk that Jake was riding his bike on, which I recall he railed against. I presume that may have been a designated cycle or mixed use path. However I can also accept the possibility that Jake is an imperfect person like all people. ;) I ejoyed the music. I find that I really like vocoder effects in music as an atmospheric element. I think I may do a blog post with music recommendations for Jake (or anyone really). What do people think of the Apple Magic Mouse that Jake has? I got the Magic Track Pad and hate it. The clicking is clunky and text selection is awkward. Is the clicking and scrolling action on the MM any good? I don't like the feeling of the touch scrolling on the Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse. It feels slower than a mechanical wheel. Is the scrolling on the MM like that or better implimented?

Before he became ennobled, he was Dr John Eatwell On the subject of imperfection, I can't imagine Jake being anything less than 99.99% perfect, but then, well educated Cambridge people normally are...

Retew Boy Thank you for the clarification. For some reason I had thought you may have some understanding of this. :) I had done a quick bit of googling but did not find as much information as quickly as I had hoped. It seems that I didn't have enough background knowledge to properly understand what I did find. As a person with Humanist leanings, I value and appreciate some degree of imperfection. We owe our very existence to the imperfect nature of genetic replication. However, I suppose that when viewed from a certain perspective one could say that mutation is ultimatly part of a greater and more perfect process. I like to try to take the same wide view with people. Some of us may have our fumbles and faults, but in the end it is the totality of the experience and exchanges that matter most. I could be wrong. I'm not a properly educated Cambridge person. ;)
