I love that store, to the point that proximity to it was one of the deciding factors for when my husband and I were house hunting. Love. Love. Love! I wish Minnesota(at least northern) had something like this. However we have a slowly becoming, state wide cheap pantry. $20 for around $100 of food. Most near date , we get a preliminary list of what to expect. I have gotten lots of organic stuff. Grass fed milk is a treat too. With the cream still in it. Yum. Yum. Yum. My town has 4 or 5 days a month and lots of families rely on it. I tend to meal prep what I can too. Thanks for the haul!

We had to ask a dollar tree store when they're trucks came in. They had to everyday on every truck but people would attack it. We eventually went close to the time they said and got some. It was theb1st place we saw any all of April. Also I heard Walgreens had some more often then places like big stores as people were not looking there as often. If you are in the high risk category most stores have a certain time each week you can shop before the rest of the public so you can have full stocked and less people to compete with and be more safe. Usually 60+ or medically nessacery for the extra precautions. Call or look for stores near you. Sam's, costco, walmart, dollar tree, aldi, and kroger are all doing this. Blessings

Are you doing grocery orders? They don’t show up as choices but if you put in the category of other the shopper will pick them up for you. I think they just don’t want people to verbally abuse shoppers and there are limits to how many at one time. They had it bad for the first three weeks to the shoppers.

At the grocery store I work at, we do have toilet paper. There are some varieties that we can’t get in, but there’s still toilet paper. We placed a limit of 1 pk per customer. We also placed a 1 unit per customer limit on disinfectant wipes and spray and hand sanitizer. We haven’t been able to get hand sanitizer in, besides a case of travel sized bottles, that we sold up at the front desk, in like a month and a half. We still have hand soap, though the selection is a little bit slim. Rice has been picked over.

Love all the snack ideas. We mostly reserve sweets/treats for Sunday because it makes it a day of rest for me (resting from all the energy I put into healthy food most of the time), it's convenient for fun outings, and it's a way to make Sundays special! I can make the kids eggs all week long for breakfast and when they ask for pancakes I can say, let's have that on Sunday! One of my kids said, "is it going to be Sunday every day in heaven?", and I said "YES!". So I definitely think we should be liberal on the sweets and treats and Paw Patrol waffles, especially on Sunday or special occasions!

Cincinnati Ohio is close to fully stocked as of 2 days ago when we went out. Rubbing Alcohol.amd.hand sanitizer is always out no one has any and tp is easier to get also the shelves are more full and most options are there again. Bread, milk, and eggs are back so is drinking water. Blessings to all stay safe even as regulations are lifted there is still risk.

Bag up your oats in freezer bags, freeze for 1 week, then you can put them into 5 gallon buckets in garage...with top...that way any insects that may hatch and cause damage to the oats will be killed before the 5 gallon bucket storage. This works!

I am gluten free, so I will often do rice cakes instead of bread for lunches and breakfasts. Another good idea is to put cream cheese, peanut butter or any other topping you like on them then add slices of fruit or veggies on top. It’s a a good way to do a spin on pizza or toast that is a little cheaper when you don’t/can’t have bread.

If you want to give your water (and I mostly drink water myself) a little bit of taste, you could put a few drops of lemon juice in it. The juice from real lemons, not any artificial stuff. We are all good here in Southern IL. Stores are stocked well. I shop for my hubs, parents and daughter who has 2 boys under two. So I have been to a few different grocery stores trying out different times and locations to find the least populated one. Hope you are all well and garden is prospering! Large grocery hauls require so much skill and energy --- puzzle skills coming & going!! First, ya gotta fit it all on the cart without squishing anything, then in the car, then more puzzle-solving to fit it all in freezer/fridge/cabinets. We really deserve major kudos!!! Our kids have NO IDEA until they grow up and attempt it themselves - am I right, or am I right??

In the Appomattox Walmart in Virginia, we have no rubbing alcohol, toilet paper or baby wipes, but we have plenty of fresh fruit and veggies😃. Been stocking up on that for my family.

On the sugar, that is $1.16 per pound. You can order two 25 lb bags from Walmart for $23.24 ($11.62 per bag). You got gypped on the sugar I think. Also, you can feed your kids whatever you want and don't have to explain yourself. It's your family and you do the best you can do for them. The oats was a great price.

We did a grocery pickup at Walmart today. When I turned it in the total was nearly $285. When we picked it up, the total was $228. So about a $50 drop, due to being out of items. So we went across to Aldi and bought a few more items. Aldi was out of sourdough bread (sad day) and we couldn’t find the butter fly shrimp, which was in this week’s ad. We’re still in fairly good shape, so it’s okay and already better than a couple of weeks ago. We are in rural east central Oklahoma.
