How does one go about not leaving their social security benefit in the US or their finances? It is extremely hot and terribly humid though. I couldn’t take it. I guess after living in Chicago this heat will be welcomed.

You can get Social Security direct deposited into your Panama bank account if you want to. There are other ways to get your money to Panama. I live in the mountains of Panama where the average temp is 75. It's not hot in the highlands.
