Let me tell you guys something... I spoke to a friend today, we used to be friends 10 years ago... She told me how i used to love life and live it how it was and hardly ever drink alcohol. Then she said "Something happened to you and you changed, you started to drink more..." That's when i lost my mum to cancer and this song really makes me think about how i felt when it happened....
@pasebomba10 жыл бұрын
hey captain crazy :) I know how you feel I lost my granddad a couple of years back and I was crushed.I started punishing myself for it everytime I smiled I would feel guilty and fall back into the circle of depression. But then I realised by acting like this im making it more painful for him when he looks down on me.There's nothing you can do bring them back but what you can do is strive to be happy because seeing you happy and healthy will make them happy. remember time is the best ailment and I hope everything gets better
@SteampunkResistance10 жыл бұрын
I know how that feels. I still feel the guilt like i don't have the right to be happy because i let my mum die. People tell me that it really isn't my fault and i know it isn't but i feel that if i don't feel the guilt then it's like it never happened.

I'm pretty sure I knew about this guy some time ago, but always had his name confused with that of the late Jim Morrison of the Doors, since I grew up in an era that his name was pretty much synonymous with. But then this guy named Alex Lambert sang this on American Idol, and they kept complementing him on how much he sounds like James Morrison, and I knew I'd heard this tone/style of singing before, then it clicked. Now I'm no longer confused, and consider myself a full fledged James Morrison fan. 💪🏼😆👍🏼 What a Wonderful World!😄👍🏼👍🏼🌎

What an amazing song and amazing video& message. Everything originally looks perfect, the beautiful women, pool & scenery & then u realise they are in a mental institution/ rehab.. & the cracks begin to show. Its kind of like life... when u lose someone, things on the outside may look perfect to another but on the inside things are not as they appear, much darker, with everyone fighting their inner battles. I love it!

I've been down so low people look at me and they know, They can tell something is wrong Like I don't belong, Well, staring through a window standing outside there just to happy to care And I wanna be like them but I'll mess it up again, I tripped them out when God kicked outside everybody's soul. And I know that it's a wonderful world But I can't feel it right now, I thought I was doing well but I just want to cry now, Well I know that its a wonderful world from the sky down to the sea, But I can only see when you're here, here with me. Sometimes I feel so full that it just comes spilling out, It's uncomfortable to see I give it away so easily, But if I had someone I would do anything and never never never never let you feel alone I won't, I won't leave you on your own, Who am I to dream, dreams are for fools, they always let you down. And I know that it's a wonderful world But I cant feel it right now, I thought I was doing well but I just want to cry now, Well I know that its a wonderful world from the sky down to the sea, But I can only see when you're here, here with me. And I wish that I could make it better, I'd give anything for you to call me, Maybe just a little letter Oh it could start again. And I know that it's a wonderful world But I cant feel it right now, I thought I was doing well but I just want to cry now, Well I know that its a wonderful world from the sky down to the sea, But I can only see when you're here, here with me. I know that its a wonderful world But I cant feel it right now, Iv got all the right clothes to wear I just wanna cry now, I know that it's a wonderful world from the sky down to the sea, But I can only see well when your here, here with me. The meaning of this song to me is that I'm 13 and I've had quite a tough life with things lately and the bad ones in my life make my life worse and 'blind' about the world around me.But the good people who help me with things try to make me see that I can cope with things,but it's hard for me to see the light at the end of a long tunnel.It's nearly always how I feel.That I can have a better life.it is a wonderful world out there but I can't feel it right now.Thanks James for the gift you have...

I think the beautiful clear pool represents the wonderful world that he sees/feels when he is with the one he wants to be with... and the black ink slowly filling it is the emptiness he feels inside growing until it completely encompasses the entire pool when he is alone, emphasizing that he cannot see the wonderful world when he is alone...

Such a marvellous song it reminds me of what music really symbolizes. It's not about the salery or the money it's about the passion, the love, the dedication and the determination!!!!!!! Thanks James Morrison Thanks a lot
