You have no idea how true this is. I clean and some of my employers are in that group of those who bought their knowledge with their parents money. $$$. Unfortunately for some of them this very act has left them lonely and unaware of how the very thing that should have set them free has made them slaves of their own conditioning. They were made to believe that they will fair better than others but when it came to it, the human mind does eventually have a uniformity in question who one is, where they came from and where they go. Some of these very people are using their hard earned cash to pay psychiatrist for cure because their attachment to what image they hold of their world differs from what is true. We are one. We tap from the same contents of human consciousness and that every living organism dies eventually. I am not vain but I am saying that learning is best done when the student is ready. I am ready and my cleaning job gives me the time that I need to attend my lectures. KZbin lectures. I am having the best lectures who I chose and for cheaper than university fee.

Don't you think that there is a deeper meaning to this text professor? If the purpose was simply to convey the meaning you have highlighted then why is Gilgamesh 2/3 God and 1/3 man? Surely after the amount of translations you have done in semitic languages of these mythological texts you (above all others) should appreciate the preciseness and skill with which certain words are chosen to express the meaning? Why then in this tripartate world is Gilgamesh only 1/3 man ?

The teaching that death doesn't end existence was introduced by Satan in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:4). That many believe in some continuance of life at death in some form or another is not surprising. Satan is called the one misleading the entire inhabited earth (Revelation 12:9).

In my opinion, I think the garden of Eden was somewhere in East Africa. The reason is that's where you find all type of animals, all type of trees, all type of creatures who still exist untill today. In my opinion the creation started there. There's no place on earth you will find all the living creature like Africa. Everyone go to Africa to watch and took at least a pair of those animals with them to this different continent. Also the oldest skull find in East Africa.

no there's hades/sheol and it was divided into 2 parts hell the place of torment and paradise affectionately referred to as Abraham's bosom the place where the ot saints / good souls went .. then when Jesus went down to witness to the those in prison and defeated hell , death and the grave his sacrifice made way for the dead to be reconciled to God.. which is why I believe "paradise" is no longer needed after death so your judged then go to your consigned place until the end

I've really been enjoying your videos so far. Since you mentioned your translation of Genesis, may i ask your understanding of the first three words? It looks to myself as an untrained reader that barasheet bara elohim says "in the beginning was created elohim. " I've seen some arguments of Kabalists that the higher emanation created Elohim, but this must have been added after the adoption of Platonism into the Jewish religion. If it isn't too much trouble would you give your take?

The chronology of this series is odd. Regardless of whether you can actually draw links of "influence" over time between the various traditions it describes, it's odd to treat the "ancient Hebrew" tradition before covering at least the Sumerian and Egyptian traditions (if not early vedic traditions and Norse mythology) that predate it by a millennium or three. The Homeric/Greek tradition - like the "ancient Hebrew" one (and, for that matter the Persian/Zoroastrian one and certainly the Buddhist ones) - is of the Iron Age and all really should be treated as having been at least potentially influenced by their Bronze Age predecessors as well as potentially reflecting inter-tradition syncretism in later (e.g. Hellenistic and Roman/Mauryan) times.

Gilghamesh was 2/3 demi god and was trying to board a rocket ship to go to " heaven" which was Nibiru the planet of the Annunaki. *Eden and Ararat* Doesn’t Ararat mean “creation”? It would make sense that Eden was perceived as being there, and that the Ark would land on (among?) the Mountains of Creation. The reason there are parallels is because it IS THE TRUTH,not because of religious syncretism,I do not care how many lies the round earth schientific priests or even the more ancient zorosastrian, far easter Hindus and Buddhists and greek philosophers after Homer that emerged from the same Aryan root that got created around 1500bc promote, but the triune view of the cosmos(heavens, land, underworld),the ancient flood, the ancient creation or more accurately setting in place of the world and the purpose of mankind found in all thos ancoent religions is the truth and there are just many different accounts of this same thing from many different cultures and I believe the Hebraic account is the correct one.

NKAN CONTRA TABOR Good day Dr Tabor, I thank you for taking time and pains to make these massive arguments, after watching virtually all your podcast, I have made my own deductions based on the intensive revision of almost all your works, they are thorough, but most unfortunately, they are biased. They remind me of one entertainer by name Jacobovich, entertaining but biased, permit me share my sincere views, I also plead for your patience. In all your arguments, you quote great authorities, amongst them, the Bible (canonized and uncannonized works), you quoted historians, philosophers et all), All your authorities that you quoted, had different views, you skewed your references to only the views that supported your biased opinion, (forgive me for using that adjective it's because, I can't find a more polite word, please forgive me for using it, I mean no disrespect Sir). You completely accepted quotations that are inline with your views, you took pains to argue that those views are credible, but you completely reject the portions that reject your views, you claim that those portions are not credible, those are the elements that prove that your arguments are biased at best. Okay let's take it from the beginning. The Torah! who masterminded the Torah (The highest authority in Judaism), Moses! There is no known record of any Historical Moses in any Ancient Egyptian records (I stand to be corrected),Manetho took pains to Identify a persona that he identified as Biblical Moses, he identified him as a historical figure by name Osaseph, Manetho said that Osaseph was an Egyptian, he was a priest at Heliopolis, he had some medical challenges, he was a leper, he led his friends (confederate members mostly fellow lepers from Avaris) to revolt against the pharaoh (Ramses II - The great's father), the rebellion lasted for 13 years, after 13 years of atrocities in the land that was perpetuated by Osaseph and his followers, Ramses II ( the great) with his father joined forces together and flushed Osaseph, his confederate members and the Hyksos that he invited to come and join him in the rebellion, Osaseph was successfully flushed out of Egypt to Canaan, he crossed the sea of reeds (yam suph) not Red Sea as popularized by many rabbinic literatures including some corrupted portion of the Torah, the pharaoh of the exodus was Ramses II (The great), he did not perish in Yam suph (sea of reeds) as popularized in some corrupted portion of the Torah, NASA In collaboration with Colins Humphrey and other British and Jewish academics recently confirmed that the first documented annular solar eclipse in Joshua chapter 10 occurred in December 30 1270 BC, specifically 4:00 pm, just subtract 50 years from that date, the pharaoh of that time was Ramses II (The Great), many Rabbi's are trying to introduce controversy into the pharaoh of the Exodus, unfortunately for some of them the annular solar Eclipse is not subject to controversy. Manetho's works are accurate, the Torah identifies Moses (Osaseph), Aaron, and Miriam as people that had some skin medical challenges (Leprosy-lepers), Osaseph was a rebellious Egyptian priest, Manetho said that after his rebellion he wrote some laws that were anti Egyptian cultures, if you really look at these laws that he wrote, which are the Torah, they are a poor work of plagiarism, let's look at the Genesis Creation myth, it's the Sumerian Creation myth, just that it was the adulterated version, even as he went into Canaan, YHWH is a god in the Canaanite pantheon, YHWH is the God of metallurgy/storm et al, the Head of the Canaanite Pantheon is El, Osaseph (Moses), was an Egyptian priest of Heliopolis during the 18th Dynasty, The Rebel Phaoraoh Akhenaton was the pharaoh during the 18th dynasty, he elevated Aton to be the chief deity and proclaimed that he was the only deity, he formalized Monotheism, prior to Pharaoh Akhenaten and post Akhenaten Aton was just a god in the Egyptian pantheon, Akhenaten elevated him to be the chief deity and only deity, that sparked a National rebellion against Pharaoh Akhenaten and led to his premature downfall, he was succeeded by his young son, Osaseph (Moses), repeated the same methods at Canaan, elevated one of the unpopular gods in the canaanian pantheon to be the chief deity (YHWH) ignoring EL, the children of Israel rebelled on several occasions, till today the rebellion is still on, the laws that Osaseph formulated are unnatural, Aaron his elder brother led the first rebellion on Mount Sinai, (Horeb, point of correction, the Biblical Mount Sinai/Horeb is in modern day Saudi Arabia, not the popular spot that is used in raking in money by tourist companies), Aaron made Apis (the Bull god) for the people, Jeroboam rebuilt Apis for the people, recently an Israeli leader said that God brought them to a land that does not have oil, Jewish leaders rebelled against Osaseph in the desert, Osaseph killed them using his militia (tribesmen - Levites) and other controversial means, the management of his religion made people to brand his God a genocidal God, Osaseph (Genocidal/Jeelose God is not and cannot be my God), Jesus called my God 'Father!', that is my 'God', my God doesn't discriminate His creation, let me not digress much, the God that I believe in is Elohim, Elohim told Cain that the blood of his brother that he had murdered was crying to Him, don't tell me that it is metaphoric, I would not accept those your stereotype answers when it doesn't fit to your arguments, was God's argument with Cain an impurity that was added by scribes? The Book of Enoch claims that the Blood of Abel is still crying till date, Jesus reference it in the gospels, David in Psalms 23 said, 'I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever', is the House of The Lord a physical infrastructures? Psalms 24 ended in a very exciting form, 'Lift up your gates oh! Ye gates and be ye lifted up ye everlasting doors, and let the king of Glory come in, who is the king of Glory? The Lord of Host, He is the king of Glory', is that just poetry? Moses (Osaseph), wrote in the Torah, 'An The lord shall raise amongst you a prophet, ... what ever he tells you, do it', who is that prophet? Who is the man of sorrow in Isaiah? I am happy that you acknowledge the story of Samuel and the witch of Endor, there is a religious group that have been telling their members that, that event was a fraud, when I listened to them I laugh, every thing that the late Seer (Samuel) told Saul came to pass to every detail, then what was the fraud in it? It's unfortunate that you did not deal more exhaustively with ancient Egyptian culture of the afterlife, that is the root that the Jews brought from Egypt. I listen to the story of the paternity of Jesus that you aired, the story of Jesus, if Jesus truly had a biological father what difference does it make, okay accepted that The biological father of Jesus is Patera (forgive me for the spelling error), that does not diminish Jesus in anyway, Jesus of Nazareth is the Son of God, Jesus of Nazareth is the Son of Man, Jesus of Nazareth is the greatest man that ever lived, Flavius Josephus wrote, 'It is inappropriate to address Jesus Christ (The Nazarene) to be a man', ''He is a man of a thousand signs and wonders', 'He Rose from the dead', I am quoting Flavius Josephus, Jewish Antiquities, to be specific, kindly go and read it without bias, I didn't call Paul, I called Flavius Josephus, he wasn't a Christian, when you make your arguments please don't be biased, I recommended yesterday that since you accept the book of The Gospel of Peter, to make a biased arguments, please look at the gospel of Niccodemus/Pontus Pilate, it's a fantastic literature too, It's just like the figure Mechilzedek, he was a historical figure, the name means 'King of Righteousness', the other title for the same office is Adonizedek, 'Lord of Righteousness, these were the titles for the political leaders of old Jerusalem, The book of Jashar claims that Abraham learnt about monotheism from Noah, it was there that he met Shem, Abraham later visited Shem as the later king of Salem, as the king/High Priest he had that title, but the king of Righteousness is Elohim, but Shem had that Divine title and there was nothing wrong about it, Adam was the son of God, Jesus is also the son of God, Ezekiel/Daniel were the 'son of man' as individuals, Jesus was also the son of man, why are the Jews bothered about Jesus, they rejected him and had him killed by the Romans, they killed his Brother (James), they handed over Paul to be killed by the Romans, they killed their prophets, that is their problem, on a personal note, some of my closest friends are Jews, my friends are local Rabbi's here in New York, they use to teach me the Babylonian Talmud and the Talmud of Jerusalem, but the Jews should learn to accommodate their teachers, not criticize them destructively and even lynch some. Mary was not promiscuous, you can read about her in the book of Mary, being a hair maker is an honest trade, officially she was bethroted to Joseph, while pregnant, Joseph accepted her and her pregnancy and baby, every other story is speculative/unofficial probably frabicated by trouble makers/blackmailers, your podcast are highly entertaining just like Jacobovich, (skeptical archeologists), you may tune to one of his shows and get entertained, probably he will tell us that there are evidence that he has to prove that the 7th Heaven is on the moon, probably a more exciting show, maybe the exact spot where the throne of Elohim is located. Thank you Dr Sir, please I apologize if I used any disrespectful word or expressions, I don't mean any disrespect. Have a Blessed day Sir. I enjoyed all your shows, I even subscribe to it, during our next meeting of Knight of Malta, I will introduce your podcasts to some of my cerebral brothers. Godspeed; Godbless!

Reading the books of the New Testament, we perhaps asked ourselves more than once: *"Why 2000 years we do not see those miracles that accompanied the Сhurch of Christ in the I century, as described in the New Testament?"* Why do the so-called preachers of Christ have to prove that Jesus really existed and atheists boldly deny the historicity or divine origin of Christ? Maybe because the Сhurch of Christ has not existed for 2000 years? The Сhurch does not exist in the form in which it is presented in the books of the New Testament, but there are Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and other christian sects claiming to be the place of the Church, but they not have the only thing that distinguishes the divine from the human and is characteristic of just the Сhurch of Christ -the reinforcement of the word with signs, that is, miracles (Mark 16:15-20). Therefore, some researchers doubt the historicity of Christ, and some of them are not opposed to declaring him a an ordinary philosopher, teacher. But even if Jesus were an ordinary philosopher, his disciples would be ordinary followers of Jesus. And they would not dare to write about the miracles that not only Jesus, but also his disciples, could perform. If there were the Church in our time as described by the authors of the New Testament books, where miracles are performed, the sick are healed, where prophesied, and the dead are raised, no one would doubt the historicity of Christ. Then there would be the same controversy throughout the world as in the first century - Jesus the Son of God or the false prophet who seduces the world by miracles. As a result, we can say that the emergence and development of christian sects and atheism was the result of the fact that over the 2000 years the Сhurch of Christ did not exist. Find *"The Mystery about the Church of Christ"* video on KZbin. The video reveals the prophecy of the disappearance and reappearance of the Church of Christ before the End of the World. Watching this video will give hope to all who sincerely seek God and will interest those who are not too lazy to think freely. The many stories are starting to seem like cyclic events. So may be they are all from different times. So in that sense no one 'stole' an older story

@29:40 The Pauline reference is conditional. If there is NO bodily resurrection. I understand why Tabor rests on 1 Cor. 15, but that is a limited and selfish analysis. My point isn't to convert Tabor, nobody has that amount of time. Instead, I read the Scripture differently and I always filter my conclusions through the Quran. There is reference to bodily resurrection in the Quaran although it is presented as an angelic boast. We all know that Christan dogma preaches resurrection. That having been said I will close by restating my lack of confidence in Paul and add John to that ''time out''.

That must be a modern Muslim map because it looks weird seeing Palestine on a map with names like Akkad and Nineveh. As if it was called Palestine, huh. That whole area would have been called Canaan. It was also still to soon for the Phoenicians, who were also Canaanites.

Gilgamesh-iah runs into the beta versions of Adam and Eve at the edge of the cosmos. Why do I see similarities between the wild man Enkidu and John the Baptist. Jesus and Gilgamesh. Eerie similarities. Jesus cried and so did Gilgamesh when his friend passed away.

(Babel) is short for Babalonian which means (confusing). One of evils power is to posses confusion on people.
