I was an airborne scout in the army. 40 years ago and we had pictures in B/W. I tried so hard to portray what i went thru with my wife but until you live it, u can’t see it. I really appreciate Jamie painting the picture - Regards - Airborne

I was born in the 70s and raised in the 80s. One of my favorite memories is sitting with my grandparents, looking through our photo albums, and hearing stories of the events in those pictures. I'm sad that, the digital world we now live in, has robbed that experience from today's generations.

Late to the party on this video, but I agree with you 100% - they'll never know that feeling of flipping through a family photo album. Times change, not always for the best

For me being older now, this hits so hard. Mom has a bunch of old black and white photos from the 20’s, 30’s, 40’s etc. This song makes me a crying mess. She is in her 90’s now, health and memory are both fading…..dang. 😢

This song is a beautiful one. I'm a Navy Vet. I signed a blank check payable up to an including my life..........to make sure all the folks I care about were safe. Some folks call me a hero. All I see myself as is someone willing to do the right thing at the right time. And I'd love to explain the things I've seen. Most folks wouldn't be able to comprehend.

I remember when this came out around 2009-ish. I was a Senior in high school. It was a big hit and always on the radio. I remember listening to it in the middle of the night on the way home from an elk hunting trip in Colorado that year. This seemed like Jamey Johnson's first hit that put him on the main, and it seemed like this was his mainstream phase.. After this he grew out his hair and beard, and was kinda outside the mainstream bubble. And he put out an awesome Black and White album that I think was way better than his previous mainstream albums. There was a white CD and a black CD that was filled with great songs. The white CD had more positive feeling songs while the black album had more melancholy songs.

I lost almost all my son's baby pics. Gathered them up to make duplicates through a relative and they had to move suddenly {sickness in the family} and they got lost. At least you have your favorite baby pic. Y'all need pics of your baby, sleeping like an angel. Make duplicates yourself nowadays. Have a blessed day y'all.

Like you all and understand having the baby. To me, it just though, it seems disrespectful to the song. Ya gonna do a reacaction, sit up pay attention. Put the baby to bed. Love ya, but just something about that one did not feel right.

Explain to me how having the baby laying on his chest was disrespectful to the song sir. Your comment is confusing. Possibly a sick child ever cross your mind. Your the only person in the comments wish an issue.
