Did she call in days in advance hoping you would have the radio on at that exact time? No, that's improbable unless you repetitively listen to the radio at a specific time... Explain please.

+KnightPezz Those of us who are tuned into the universe (not as wierd as you might think) put vibes out there and know we're going to get responses. I'm not a judgey person but, as someone who's lost loved ones, I would ask you to tread very gently around someone's else's grief. Everything pushes you over the edge when you're bereaved and you need kindnesses from strangers not undermining comments.

I've always thought Jamie left out a final verse which would make this song complete. Please let me fill it in, from my own life experience (this song is my life, down to the 3 kids and the cancer) 10 years up and gone. Guess I haven't moved on. I wasn't expecting that. Still hear your voice in my head. And feel your warmth in our bed. I wasn't expecting that. So now it's my turn to rest. Is that your head on my chest? I wasn't expecting that. Paul Whitfield.

My mom and dad started dating when they were 16. They were married at 23. They had my brother at 24 and me at 27. My brother and I are now both adults and have moved out. My parents were just figuring out how to live just them again when suddenly my mom was diagnosed with cancer. Naturally, this song and video touches me quite a lot, and I know I'm not alone here. My mom is currently in chemotherapy and hopefully, in contrast to this video, my mom and dad are still to experience many wonderful years together.

I didn’t discover this song until 2015, my freshman year of college, but when I did I was obsessed with it. I listened to it on repeat for about a year. Every now and again I’d remember it, listen, and tear up a little. Flash forward to now, my parents, who married in Spring 45 years ago, are facing my Mom’s stage four cancer diagnosis and it feels like this song is about them. Just make the amount of kids four and they waited until they were married. No more tearing up but full on bawling my eyes out.

Cancer is one of the biggest money spinners there is for Big Pharma, and Oncologists. Instead google The Truth About Cancer and EDUCATE yourselves!!! Cures are out there - loads of them, but it's all suppressed by the cancer industry. Alternative practitioners are run out of town or get mysteriously bumped off. Google Natural News as well.

They were a month shy of 50 yrs married when she passed and a month shy of 58 yrs when he did. I haven't a clue what happens after we die...but I DO know that she was with him as he left this world and I assume that they are together now..and that helps ease the pain of loosing them. Although the older version was good this version of the video was in my opinion better. Like at 0:46 she appears as an older lady but then as he looks at her she turns into a younger woman, meaning that he sees her for her eternal beauty (similar to what Shakespeare did in shall i compare thee to a summers day), and that he will never not see her for that. The underlying themes in this song are amazing. Really beautiful song
@DiarmuidK99 жыл бұрын
+littleredkeeper Shakespeare didn't write "I wandered Lonely as a Cloud", William Wordsworth did. That poem isn't about this topic, either. The Shakespearean sonnet you're talking about is "Sonnet XVIII" or sometimes called "Shall I compare thee to a summer's day".

Well, I'm gonna assume she gets a life-threatening disease such as cancer, and if you see the beginning of the video, you can see them both crying over the news. Then at the end of the video, you see the dramatic result, which is that she dies. It's not actually a hidden ending, it was just excluded out from the beginning of the video and shown at the end of the video. So just to rephrase -- the song plays the story in chronological order, while in the video, it's played in reverse. The only thing is, is that they excluded out the ending of the story in the video, because the ending of the video would actually be shown in the beginning, which would ruin the dramatic effect. If you still don't get it, try this. Load up lyrics to the song, read the lyrics from the beginning while playing the video from the end (just before she passes away) to beginning of the video.

I used to listen to this song with HIM and HE was the one who actually showed it to me… All I can do now is cry to it because of all the memories the song brings back. I don’t think he’ll ever read this but if he does: I hope you know that, no matter how much you hurt me, no matter how sad the situation makes me, no matter how mad I am at you, no matter how much you made me cry, I will never wish something bad for you, because deep down I know you’re not a bad person. I hope you’re able to find happiness, I hope you success in life and find that person who will make you not want to be a millionaire because “what’s the point (of living in a big house) when the only room I wanna be in is the one you’re in”. I also hope you’re able to grow old and own loads of dogs and have kids of your own. I really hope you’re able to do all of the things we talked about doing together and I hope you remember that despite everything, you were so loved. From now on, this song will always remind me of you. Goodbye, Si. Xx.

My mother and father have been married for 33 years . My sister and I are the only kids they had 2 years apart I’m the oldest .I went on to college at the university Wisconsin of milwaukee in 2015 they could not believe that their first child is off to make a better world for others . They couldn’t believe they have the house to themselves . My mother is in medical field just like myself one day and still assisting doctors and nurse and saving lives when they go into surgery. I’m a coach of 15 years but I’m also a social worker in the medical field . I love my parents and this video is reminding me of them that even though I’m living in whitefish bay Wisconsin and they are in merrill i still have them in my heart where ever I go

I'm a program director at a radio station cluster in Colorado. I remember the day my ops manager called me into his office to listen to this tune for the first time. It was the first and only time in 20 years that my jaw has hit the floor after listening to a new tune. It's hard to imagine a more perfect song than this.

I don't think I've ever heard such a blissful song end on such a somber note. It's magnificent. It tears your heart out, gently pulling you through the exact emotions on how surprising a happy romance can be at every turn, whilst still reminding you that even the purest hearts and best intentions will eventually surprise you to the and in the end. No other song out there blended simplicity, beauty, and sorrow in such a poetic manner.

I loved her cheeky grin, To me happiness she'd bring, Together battles we'd win, Liking her wasn't a sin, Knowing her was a gift, Even though it was swift, Your lovely spirit lifted me up like a lift, My grief I can't shift, She past away, I miss her everyday, For her soul to reach Heaven to God I pray, R.I.P darling until I head your way, I wished you a farewell, That's da day I fell, It was my personal hell, I was locked in a cell

Just watched Jamie on BBC news with Ed Sheeren. And Jamie sang half of this song. I decided to look it up and my God how sad. I do love it though. And well done Ed for promoting Jamie. I'm from the era of James Taylor, Carly Simon, Bob Dylan and Neil Young, and I have hated most of today's music. But an absolutely beautiful song.

An old enemy became a friend, And our joy knew no end, And I wasn't expecting that. One day my friend had been crying, Because her mother was dying, And I wasn't expecting that. Because I knew what was wrong, I showed her this song, And she wasn't expecting that. And although she was sad, I knew that she was glad, That she wasn't expecting that. We still had eachother, And we soon became lovers, And we weren't expecting that.
