There's a Documentary called "The men who built America", which only shows how US business men established US but in reality they took advantage of slaves, but here we have the "The men who built India" with empathy for its own people and still they're doing it. My father used to work for Empress Mills, Nagpur. I have spent a good amount of time of my childhood and till class 12th. Unfortunately the mill was closed somewhere in 1999-2000 and everybody has to take VRS. since it could not cope up with the competition. It collapsed many families bread and butter.

Something I like to know, from people in India, my grandparents were from Jamnagar and came to South Africa in 1893 to open a business, what he told me was that the British government wanted India’s raw cotton to shipped to England, and the British would turn the cotton buds into cloth ,and India would have to buy it as as cloth from the British. The reason was to create jobs for the British people

Good clarity on the topic though it is only miniscule part of Tara's contribution. These days running market research for 6 years is not feasible. Business strategies as case study is the best way to learn and I appreciate your effort. I read the book recently - The Story of Tata by Peter Casey where they primarily cover what happened with Cyrus Mistry and why he was fired. The book is an out and out account of the Tata vision, for business, for Tata sons and their vision for the country. An awesome read in addition to this superb video. True gem of India is TATA not Ambani. TATA believes in growth of the nation as a whole on contrary Ambani believes in market monopoly at the cost of nation's destruction.
