I love this band man, they were amazing I wish I could’ve seen them back then. Check out their audio bootlegs too! Just as killer imo - specifically Trip Away from “Live Too” and No One’s Leaving from “Hollywood Palladium 1990”. Just as great as the album versions!
@jamiegustkey25735 жыл бұрын
Yeah Landon-* I was fortunate to see them during the first Lollapalooza and then some other times- They were monsters live! Amongst my favs (with this being at the top) Is the "Live in Milan" the concert video is on here- And then believe it or not- sonically, when they did the relapse tour with flea... All the footage and sounds from like the "Three Days" movie... Just crazy good sound excitement- But nothing, to me, breasts this show- This is them in the pocket!!! 👍🏻

I met these guys as they were scouting Mt Baldy to shoot these videos . We shot pool in the club house and drank some brews . I was around 26 yrs old , I never had heard of them and Perry told me I would !! I sure did and continue love their music in my late 50’s . Time flys !!!

Thats from a different song. The music video was actually made from clips of every song they played in this concert, if you look you can see that hes playing which obviously doesnt make sense. Ill link the video of the song thats from but i forgot which one it was so i need to look for it

Navarro was a genius and the last great guitar God of the era of such. He us vastly underrated. His solos on Had a Dad and Been caught Stealing alone....are extraordinary...this is killing it...and the first 20 minutes of the second aide of Ritual are the greatest guitar lixx of the decade

That same year, I went to see JA and the Pixies at the PNE Forum in Vancouver for my 19th birthday. I always remember some guy asking me what band I was there to see "The Pixies!". He replied: "After tonight Jane's Addiction will be your favourite band" he wasn't wrong.

Anybody know the story behind this actual show? The footage from the Stop film clip always looked super wild to me as a kid all those years ago...and I’m from Australia but I know that Mount Baldy isn’t a conventional spot for a show...
@CuntryRebel3 жыл бұрын
The show was exclusively to get footage to make the Stop video. Guests were by invite and very limited tickets only, from what I was told. It was held at Mt Baldy because they wanted that look for the footage.
