I don't want to take my time going to work. I got a motorcycle and a sleeping bag and ten or fifteen girls. What the hell do i want to go off and go to work for? Work for what, for money? I got all the money in the world! I'm the king, man! I run the underworld, guy! I decide who does what and where they do it at. the power..the POWER of this..one of the best intros to an album, ever. if only they hadn't broken up when they did they've have been one of the biggest bands on the planet. no amount of re-unions will put them where they were in 1991, i remember getting into them right then, just before they broke up, it was such a shock to hear that this band who were starting to create an incredible buzz, really huge, had just split, at the peak of their potential, after three stunning albums, they were set to be bigger than Chilli Peppers, NIN, the lot

The best debut song on a debut album since Led Zeppelin. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oqS9eGqkbNecm9U Jane's was every bit as good as them. It's just a shame that the only song that a lot of people know by Jane's is Been Caught Stealing.

The power this song had live was unbelievable. I wasn’t even there for janes addiction. But I always liked them. But after that I really said whoa and had a whole new appreciation. It was ocean size. I almost wanna say I left feeling more impressed by janes addiction than the pumpkins. Wanna catch a pno for pyros live show next

I loved - and I mean *loved* - Ritual when I first got into it, several years after the band broke up, but Nothing's Shocking didn't really move me the same way. I recently started listening to it again, on a whim, and it's brilliant. This was *years* before the grunge scene, when rock was basically all hair metal, and the rest of the radio was R&B. It's fun to go back and look at the Billboard top 40 lists from 88 and realize how incredibly *weird* this music is compared to everything else. I don't know anything that sounds remotely like this, especially not from that era.
