Remembering my dear friend Marjan, who was a huge fan of Janis Ian, and passed away last sunday at the age of 62..I hope you'll find your peace in heaven.

How can I live 60 years without hearing the elegance. So grateful that I finally heard this beautiful song. I'm here from watching Dawson's Creek.

This song has actually helped me through every single great ordeal I've ever been through. My Grams let me listen to this as a baby and ever since it's one of the most calming and centering songs for the whole of my life. Even still in 2020. Always and forever. I can make my peace with days like these...

Same for me. I have met Janis in the UK, after her concerts and at a living room concert where she performed for two friends who invited me along in return for my ticket to a london concert. The other fans and self, made food and tea, for 40 people, & she sang in this converted barn, in Lewes, East Sussex, UK, in the afternoon, having been in concert the previous night,at the Dome, in brighton.

I love this, especially the chords near the end... and the piano intro on the other version. I keep coming back to this song on hard days, it's a solace. Thank you, Janis.

Is it just me or does the first part of the song have an uncanny resemblance to the the verses of Faith Hill's "There you'll be"? - It's a beautiful song, for me the best on her album "God & the FBI" and I like this version better than the album version - thanks, Janis!
